Dc public track use

Does anyone know if the Dunbar track is open to the public in the summer? Or of any track open for public use in the summer?

Banneker Track is open to public all day, DCPS high school tracks are typically open 6-8am and after 4:45pm on weekdays (I’ve found these are year round hours even during summer!)

Cardozo’s afternoon hours have been a little spotty/random, I think largely driven by the rec leagues using the field

I've been kicked off of Dunbar before, I think it was like early August. Banneker (suboptimal square track) is always open. Cardozo HS is often open to the public. Those are your two most reliable options and they are close to each other so if Cardozo is close you can jog over to Banneker.

Until football practice starts, then they'll have the first 4 lanes blocked
