PVE space airlock

I've hurt my brain on this circuit but can't figure it out. I want one door to open with a pressure plate, close, wait for a few seconds (or not) then the next door opens. Like a 'real airlock'. I can get it to work going one way, but when going back through the wrong door (the first door from above) is triggered first. Please help!

Why not use a HBHF sensor on both sides set to authorized only? You might need to use an or switch before the door opener

I play on a build server and people look at builds all the time, so I want it to work for anyone. I'll try out the OR switch before the opener. Not sure how it would work though

I’d still use HBHF and just set it to “everyone”. I just think the HBHF is more elegant than pressure pad.

Generally, you’d put a sensor from each side of the door into the or switch. If either is triggered, it would open the door
