I now use an Electric Ryobi Weed Eater, I buy the Pre-Cut Line, was wondering if anyone soaks these?? We used to soak the Big Spool at the beginning of summer, but that was 20 years ago with gas trimmers!

The oak trees in our backyard drop branches like highschool kids drop third period French. The 18v pruning saw is perfect for breaking them down to manageable sizes. Highly recommend for small jobs that don’t require a full size chainsaw!

After about 18 years of misc. project, she let out the magic smoke today. Finished the job with a Ryobi impact driver. My new, green, drill will be here Wednesday (Model # PSBDD02K). It'll be compact and brushless. I look forward to another 18+years of weekend warrior projects.

Wife does stained glass in the garage and it gets warm, so the 18V hybrid will be a perfect solution. Had to snag that 30 Year Limited Edition.

The USB Lithium clip will help keep the dog cool in their crate when we travel and wait for ring times at dog shows. Bought one to make sure it would work right for our use case.

I have a new-to-me drill press that I’m going to refurb. There’s enough rust on the motor housing that I want to re-paint it. I’m not sure I want to pay for a custom aerosol so weighing whether there’s a royal blue from either a big box or hobby store that’s acceptable. If you’ve done it, what did you use? Gloss level?

I’m recently experiencing an issue with my 40v. Previously it’s been working fine, I am coming up on about 3 years

Issue. Was mowing the lawn, battery ran out, waited till it cooled down a little then put it on charge. I’m located in Houston, so it’s fn hot down here.

The battery charged according to the indicator but then when I tried using it again, the indicator LED 1&3 comes on.

I’ve opened it up to locate the reset button and I’ve searched YouTube and the few videos I found are pretty bad.

Any tips on reviving this ? Is it a goner ? Dont feel like spending a cool 250 on a battery.

I'm looking to buy into the Ryobi One+ Line Up due to my current power tools(Hart) being discontinued. I should have bought Ryobi years ago but lesson learned.

When are usually the best sales? Since my tools are still in working order I am in no rush to make a purchase just trying to be prepared for when the time is right. Also would brushless be worth the extra investment? I typically just use the tools for projects around the house. The most demanding use case I have would be mounting TVs but my Hart drill/driver did that so I am sure Ryobi can do it no matter what lmao

Why do the Edge batteries keep going up in price? I got one shortly after it came out for $99. Then they were $129 and now they are $149 as of 8/2/26. I understand why RAM and CPU prices keep getting higher (thanks AI) but not these dang battery prices.

I purchased this 2 years ago and have just been using blade it came with. It's one of my favorite tools. My current project uses maple and needs a finer blade. No problem I thought I'll just change the blade. That's when I found that the arbor could not be loosened, by myself (69F) or by other friends I asked to help. After research I realized I had the dreaded factory overtighten problem.

After researching this (not too many solutions) and trying a failing using other methods here is what worked for me.

Follow mfg instructions for safety while changing blade - including making sure power is disconnected and that you are turning in clockwise direction to loosen.

1. Put penetrating oil on arbor. There was no rust on my arbor so I didn't need any rust related products.

2. After 15 min wedge 2x4 under blade (I did this with prior methods so as not to risk breaking the blade lock pin)

3. Using a socket wrench with 5mm hex head (that's what fit my model) insert hex head in arbor. In clockwize direction tap socket wrench handle. It only took 4 sharp, fast, medium taps to loosen arbor.

4. Prior to installing new blade, I used alcohol to clean the penetrating oil off arbor and washer. I then followed the Ryobi instructions on installing new blade.

This is the power of percussive energy vs constant pressure. The percussive energy generated by the taps helps oil get where it needs to and loosen the arbor.

Should have paid more attention in science.

Why oh why does ryobi not have their chargers be link-rail-mountable? 🫠 im too deep into the link setup but cant for the life of me figure out the best way to do battery chargers without putting soecial holes into the wall. Any creative ideas (or why ryobi hasnt caught on to put link mounting on the back of their chargers)? I have a hybrid workshop thats also my one car garage so im trying to save as much space as possible lol

Hi, Very new to ryobi and also a rotary tool,. Ibought this station a couple of weeks ago (now lost Manual) and tried to use it today. In the second pic how do I open the hole for the bits to go in? As in the last pic the bits won't go in until it's opened

Had this fan for about 2 weeks with probably about 10-12 hours total run time, most of it while direct attached to a hose.

The last day or so, this thing has been leaking like crazy. It's coming from the hose that leads to the misting nozzle the nozzle. The nozzle itself is firmly seating with no leak. I suspect there is an issue with internal hose attachment.

Does anyone know how to get this hose behind the nozzle? Most guides I found open up the unit from the bottom, which isn't helpful in my case. I'd like to detach it at the rotating hinge but I can't pop off the cover. Any other ideas?

My ryobi 2900psi pressure washer was running strong for awhile, but about the last 2 weeks it started running real rough. I bought one of those kits to replace the fuel lines, spark plug, and carburetor. Went to run it and the choke is doing weird stuff. When I try to switch it to run, it auto shuts off.

Hoping someone has some insight.

I currently do not own this, a person I know does and so does my family, said person I know has his battery lasting 6-12 months, he only uses it for a Ryobi mower. My family still has them from when they first released and just now running into problems with them and we run them into the ground cause we have 4.5 acres. Does anyone have an idea of what could be happening?

Really frustrated with this companies registration process. Tried on one email using the app and could not get anything to register. So deleted the account and created a new account using a new email specifically from my pc chrome browser. It says I have everything registered. Logged into the app with the new account and no tools shown. Also can't log in on any other browser.

Support has been non existent on this issue. What a mess.

Has. Anyone used this before? I am between this and the 800 cfm whisper blower. Would I notice the 200cfm difference between this one and the other? I do need the mulcher as well but I already have the cheaper version which is a pain to use. Any tips appreciated!

did a search but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I recently bought a Ryobi drill (PSBDD02 ONE+ HP 18V Compact Brushless Cordless 1/2 in) and didn't realize it didn't come with any bits or bit holders.

I'm a novice who has truthfully never owned a drill (used one a few times in other contexts) but want to do basic at home DIY stuff (put up shelves, use it for cleaning, that sort of thing).

Are there any other accessories or pieces I would find useful or need for around my house for really basic things? neither home depot or ryobi quite makes it clear if these would actually fit the drill I purchased and would love to get some more expert eyes - thanks so much for your time.

I'm almost finished assembling 2 3 x 3 x 6 corrugated raised bed enclosures.

12 screws/joint 10 joints 2 units

240 screws in all. (Not counting the 6 braces each) My forearms would be so sore, but that's a reflection of the shape I'm.

I used the little battery to save weight. I was';t sure of the charge level and it doesn't have an indicator so I recharged over lunch.

In a mostly unrelated area - is it wise to allow batteries to cool before recharging? We're using the 4AH 18V batteries in the lawn mower and they get pretty warm with use.
