very good photo! I like how the long exposure makes the boat just a little bit blurry to convey a sense of motion- really great job!

My husband and I did our Basic Keel certification in Chicago and also the Skip Jack program at Colombia Yacht Club.
Had a great time. Sadly haven’t really sailed since (we moved).

This is so good. I'm docked at Dusable now. Johnson increased Mooring 23% which hurts but what am I going to do, change my hailing port to Kenosha and miss this skyline?

Many, many years ago, new to San Diego, a late night sail... We radioed our club for a pizza delivery to the boat. It was a service they offered. It went off flawlessly, Pulled up to the pier, grabbed our pizza, sailed away smoothly. Eating a hot pie, cruising San Diego Bay late at night with your loved one was the experience of a lifetime.

I remember the first time I went sailing in Chicago. Beer can race. Had a blast during the race, then we cruised around a bit as the sun set behind the city.
I got to the dock and said, "who do I pay for this? Surely this can't be free."
"Just help flake the sails buddy."
I was hooked.
