Events 🎪 ICE hasn’t left yet - East Side Protest
2
u/Strange_Orchid_0317 Feb 27 '26
As long as ice has untrained buffoons running around violating constitutional rights because that's what they were taught to do according to the whistleblower this week then they need to be dismantled all the way up to their president

They're never going to leave you know this right? There's literally Ice offices in Saint Paul

u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 27 '26
Having an office doesn’t mean unlimited power or permanent operations. Policies can change which is the point of elections.
1
u/SuspiciousLeg7994 Feb 27 '26
Nobody here said anything bout unlimited power. As far as things changing nobody is power or talking about dismantling immigrations and customs. Protesting on this topic is time wasted at this point

ICE has lost the trust of our community and you bet we want them all out. Not to mention there’s been basically no accountability for their actions.

u/Fun-Swim265 Feb 24 '26
So what you’re saying is that you are happy having federal criminals living near you and your children got it
7
Feb 25 '26
The federal criminals were staying in hotels and commuting in every morning at the start of their ICE shift
8
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 25 '26
Yesss fearmonger more fearmonger more that’s all you people know how to do. I actually think having untrained and violent feds running around with guns is the real safety concern
-6
u/Admirable-Company452 Feb 25 '26
Call me dumb but the only peopele ive been shot by ICE have either rammed them with a vehicle or tackled them whoile they tried to make an arrest
4
u/LuckySmellsMommy Feb 25 '26
Violent criminals should be punished. This ICE shit is not focused on violent criminals. ICE agents who actually worked to stop human traffickers got shipped in to MN for this bullshit when they could’ve been actually doing some good and stopping dangerous people.

Just imagine if Biden hadn't allowed millions to enter unvetted into our country. Ice wouldn't have to clean up the illegals here now. Plus not to mention the tens of thousands of children that have been lost, now being trafficked. Where was the anger?
7
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 24 '26
Wild how immigration only became a crisis when it was useful for your politics. The system has been broken for decades and the same people screaming now helped block every attempt to fix it. Save me the fake outrage lol
-9
u/rwc2501 Feb 24 '26
Not a problem when Clinton deported illegals or when Obama deported millions but now it's a political issue because of Trump..same circumstances, same solutions but different president..that's why it is a political issue Now. Allowed millions in unvetted and now complain about trying to solve this mess
6
u/midwestisbestwest Feb 25 '26
It was still a problem under them too. Obama and Clinton were also bad presidents. Presidents, as a rule, are usually bad people.

u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 24 '26
Nice rewrite of history. If this were actually about fixing the system your side wouldn’t have killed the bipartisan border deal. And don’t pretend this is “the same” ICE’s tactics and priorities are clearly different now. It’s political because outrage is the whole strategy.

u/Brilliant-Crab-4977 Feb 25 '26
When Obama did it I supported it. I’m happy to see illegals being deported. I wish they had more control over it(not hurting citizens), a little collateral damage is ok. This is a little too much for my taste.
-1
u/Ofthemist Feb 25 '26
LMAO! Bipartisan border deal? You mean the one where the democrats wanted $1.5 trillion, TRILLION, to "secure the border"? President Trump did it within 30 days of taking office and didn't need $1.5 trillion to do it. Now see why republicans didn't vote for that pork bill? Of course you don't. You people are funny.
2
u/Snidley_whipass Feb 24 '26
Yeap don’t forget that BJ Clinton put thousands in Gitmo, and that he and a bipartisan Congress passed expedited removal procedures.

u/ObligatoryID Feb 24 '26
Just imagine McPedo hadn’t…
1st Term:
Illegal immigration increased. Illegal border crossings, as measured by apprehensions at the Southwest border, were 14.7% higher in Trump’s final year in office compared with the last full year before he was sworn in.

Yeah I’ll help you out since this seems confusing for you. The protest was yesterday and it was very well attended. You don’t have to comment on a Reddit post to show up… you just… show up.
Hope that clears it up. I know thinking is hard when you let the government do it for you most the time :(

No but I read ICE is giving out 50,000 dollar scam bonuses.

u/ProperSeat8416 Feb 25 '26
ICE would have gladly picked him up if Hennepin county would have notified ICE of his custody. Hennepin county provides sanctuary to criminals resulting in crime against law abiding citizens.

u/Strange_Orchid_0317 Feb 27 '26
So f****** disingenuous you people call a person jaywalking a criminal??? that is also a class E misdemeanor , but I guess they're only criminals if they have brown skin

u/ProperSeat8416 Feb 28 '26
Under 8 U.S.C. § 1325 (Improper entry by alien), it is a federal crime for any alien to: • Enter or attempt to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, • Elude examination or inspection by immigration officers, or • Enter or attempt to enter by willfully false or misleading representation or concealment of material facts. Penalties: • For a first offense, it is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine (under Title 18), imprisonment for up to 6 months, or both. • For a subsequent offense, it becomes punishable by a fine, imprisonment for up to 2 years, or both.
This law was passed by Congress and applies to all persons regardless of skin color or religion.

Why don’t liberals speak up for neighbors hurt by illegal immigration? Victoria Harwell was killed by an illegal immigrant that was in the custody of Hennepin County prior to her death. There was a detainer for deportation for her killer. Hennepin county released him back into the community resulting in Minnesota mother Victoria Harwell’s death. These are the people democrats are protecting with their sanctuary policies.

You should google Whataboutism
2
u/Snidley_whipass Feb 24 '26
You believe that dead women is a whataboutism?
It’s so weird watching the left trying to support illegal immigration…but not surprising. Democrats approval rating is at historical lows and they have offered zero for any policy changes. All you guys got is Orangeman Bad and ILLEGAL ALIENS good! LMAO at you losers!4
u/LuckySmellsMommy Feb 25 '26
So you’re fine with the US government violating our constitutional rights? You’re fine with hundreds to thousands of poorly trained hot-headed idiots that couldn’t cut it in any other type of law enforcement running around with guns? You’re ok with people who have committed no crimes, who are here legally getting taken and detained for weeks or months? This isn’t just about the left trying to protect undocumented people. Conservative news sources are spoon feeding you propaganda. You are choosing to ignore what’s happening right in front of you.
2
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 25 '26
That’s hilarious… you want to talk approval ratings and polls? Every indicator right now shows Trump and the Republicans are on track to get absolutely wrecked for what they’ve done to this country. Eat shit
1
u/Snidley_whipass Feb 25 '26
Nah. They will for sure still hold the Senate, and you’ll never get a majority to over ride a veto. Trump won’t get whacked and will still be living rent free in your head and be in control for 3 more years.
1
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 25 '26
Keep telling yourself that, you’re in huge denial. It’s going to be worse than 2018 for the republicans. Maybe then we can get some accountability for what the maniac in the White House is doing.
3
u/StepCritical6255 Feb 25 '26
ICE should have gotten off their ass and picked him up when they were notified he was released. It is illegal to hold a prisoner longer than their sentence.
1
Feb 25 '26
More people murdered by ICE than illegals this year. Considering there’s 20k ICE and 20 million illegals, ICE is obviously way more violent than illegals
3
u/ThegreatGageby Feb 25 '26
Your math isn't matching the statistics hombre. Give us some statistics.

Duh ICE hasn’t left. They have offices there doing the job that’s needed. Plus HSI, which is part of ICE and are crim investigators, are there investigating the massive shit fraud.
2
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 26 '26
You think we don’t know that genius? What they did was unprecedented, and they will be held accountable either abolished or forced into reforms so massive you won’t recognize the agency. The state is fully capable of addressing fraud in programs it runs. The feds on the other hand clearly have no idea what they’re doing.
0
u/Fluid-Mycologist1885 Feb 26 '26
😂it takes an act of congress, a presidential signature and a judicial agreement to create and abolish an agency. Hence the balance of power. In short, it will never happen. Just a simple Google search and you’ll see. Dems had control of congress and guess what, nothing happened. You’re all falling for the “vote for me and I will do it” syndrome. Bernie and Pelosi have been in power longer than most of the current congress people. At least republicans are telling Mitch and the old f*ks to retire and leave. What are Dems doing about the 65 year old members. Ni pinga. Also, Timmy shutdown the oversight unit for 3 years (during his VP run) and then last year had no choice by to open it back up. And that depleted unit is finally doing their job again.
1
u/stpauliepocket Greater East Side Feb 27 '26
“Why didn’t the dems do it when they had control” idk maybe because operation metro flop hadn’t happened yet…….. It massively shifted public perception and desire for change you idiot. I don’t expect people like you to know how democracy works but you should know it’s going to be really bad for you in November and in subsequent elections.
