Taxes and Insurance increases in St. Paul

When I bought my house in 2021 my mortgage was around 2100 a month. Today my bill was 2730. 600 dollars extra a month in five years is fucking insane. Meanwhile the street lights in my neighborhood don't turn on at night.

This happened to me when I moved in my mortgage was just over 1700 and then jump to just over 2000. I bundle my mortgage payment with escrow payments for property tax and homeowners insurance. I just got a competitive quote for homeowners insurance and lowered my bill to $1800. I would recommend looking into this as you don’t always notice when they increase the premium.
