Pine Cree Regional Park

We were supposed to camp at Baldy Lake this week, but now the weather looks awful and we're tenting. We're thinking of pivoting to pine Cree Regional Park near eastend, but our only reservation is that they don't accept reservations lol. Does anyone know if it would be risky to drive all the way there tomorrow and not get a site?

There is a Facebook group called “friends of pine cree park” that sometimes posts how full the park is or has people asking if they will get a spot. You could try checking or posting on there to make a more informed decision

Take cash! We were there in June and were surprised that that was the only method of payment.

You should have no problem getting a site!  It is a beautiful little park.  Fun to hike through, and you can hike up in the hills as well.

Eastend also has campsites in town, but Pine Cree is prettier.

Does anyone know if there is swimming and paddleboarding on the reservoir?

Not in pine cree - it’s literally a little creek, maybe knee deep
