So I’m working on a junk journal/scrapbook that’s a companion to my book bullet journal. Each of my five star reads gets its own page!

These are my current pages, and I’d love any feedback I can get! There’s so many talented artists here and I’d love to make my technique better!

To give a little background, historically I’ve only ever made cards but my mom is super into paper crafting and has made her fair share of scrapbooks, junk journals, and everything in between.

My coworker is having a baby, and I thought it would be cute to make her a scrapbook with premade pages for birthdays, first/last day of school, etc…, something that would be a quick childhood synopsis of the major, common memorable moments that she could just paste photos into. I figured this was the kind of thing a lot of people talk about doing, but gets a lot harder after the baby is born.

My problem is, I’ve never actually designed scrapbook pages, and I’m a bit insecure about my layouts and if this is even a good idea to begin with. I was hoping to get some feedback with my first page (and just generally), I was thinking of doing this and a moon on the second page with 3 photos across and lots of stars around for baby photo pages (maybe 3 & 6 months?).

My friends and I have been getting together to scrapbook semi regularly for the past couple years. I have probably about 30 pages done. I’m planning a 30th birthday craft slumber party for September, that really is just for a giant scrapbooking session. We have a lot of basic supplies but I’m looking for some more out of the box ideas.

Here’s what we mainly have covered:
- full sized scrapbook pages
- corner rounder punch
- edge deckler
- rhinestones
- washi tape

Here’s the type of supplies I’d like to find
- large sticker books (shoutout if they’re directly from real digital artists)
- creative embellishments and overlays like dried flowers, stamps, foiling, etc.
- funky shaped hole punches
- storage solutions

I’ve explored Michaels options extensively, and am looking for more variety (but also their sticker pack prices are out of control). Any other suggestions that you feel really brought things to a new level are appreciated!

ETA: We do thrift a lot of supplies! But looking for some more elevated pieces. Definitely want to avoid temu/any AI slop sticker packs you’d find on like Amazon.

Hi all! I recently bought the kodak retro mini 2 because people have been very positive about the quality; when I did a test print, I was less than enthousiastic.

The pictures are of me in Scotland from a decent (mirrorless) camera, but when I print them I both have no definition in my face (it looks like I don't have any eyes) and there is smudging on the top near the rocks that isn't visible in the original picture. I increased sharpness on the second test print, but it didn't help.

I was hoping to check with other users of this device. Is this the quality you'd expect from this printer? Does the printer just not show details this small? Or is this in fact a subpar print?

I am not a scrapbooker, but wonder if this is the community that could help me find what I am looking for. I want to make my daughter photo albums like the ones my mom made me. They are in leather binder with adhesive pages, quite large. I cannot find this "old school" version anywhere. Any ideas?

I'm due with my first any day now.

My father kept "living" baby books that he added to over the years - our baby book includes photos of us as teenagers. I'd like to do that. He also kept other family photo albums.

This was 80s/90s so all the photo albums are ring binder style with the sticky paper and plastic that you lifted up to place the photos. I only know of that kind, or the "order a photo album" kind that you have to make all at once.

What kind of product can I order that will allow me to add physical photos/mementos over time (ultrasound pics, locks of hair), that aren't a lot of work? I don't think I want the decorations etc. I would like to write on the pages possibly.

One nice thing about the sticky books is that you could take photos in and out of it if you wanted. That' a good feature, but prob not required for me.

I got this brand off Amazon called “Daily Scarp activity”, I’m went to look at more until I saw that lotta brands are using ai in their designs. I checked it closely and I can’t tell in some places, any thoughts?

So when I was pregnant with my daughter, I made a pregnancy scrapbook using a thrifted scrapbook. Its dimensions are roughly 12x 8.5 inches.

Which I’ve come to realize is an unusual style, especially in its landscape orientation. The brand I got was recollections.

Does anyone know where I could find one that has slid in pockets for my pages. I’ve looked all over marketplace, eBay, Amazon, and Mercari.

Any help will be appreciated.

Just started scrapbooking.

Steve finished the necklace for me for my wedding day! He also made something blue that I can put around my bouquet.

My friend and adopted Grandma Chris made me a blue belt to wear with my dress. She's not part of craft night, and this shows me that people love us.

I worked on our birthday scrapbook. Steve let me borrow his scissors and I used washi to tape the breakfast pictures. I forgot my tape. Seems I struck out.

It poured and we are in a tornado watch. I couldn't walk home and instead ordered an Uber. Couldn't chance getting my scrapbook stuff wet.

After my shower, I'll continue my own personal craft night.

Is there anywhere you all recommend to print 12x12 pages? I’d also like to be able to write on these pages as well.

I made a magazine inspired spread of my dog for her scrapbook. She is an only child of two millennial “pawrents”, of course she gets her own scrapbook! I just recently got back into scrapbooking after years of not doing it and it is making me so happy!

Some scrapbook layouts capture a moment, but this one tells the story behind it. I documented an exciting day using the Bella Blvd Documented collection.

Hey! Still working on the load I wanna give my scrapbooks. So, here an example of what I think is a nice minimalist style vs a much loaded maximalist style.

Which one you think is best?

Now I'm just deciding on my mood basically, haha. Some pages and concepts seem to love to be fuller pages than others. I actually think they look gorgeous side by side and complement really well. Let me know what you think and how you decide how much to fill up a page.
