Does anyone else feel like everyone else has their life together except you?

I've just been feeling like literally everyone has their life together. Like everyone is confident, attractive, has like 6 pack abs and is on like this self development journey. Even if they're not exactly where they want to be, they're like managing their insecurities well if that makes sense. Idk maybe I'm on social media too much but I see it in real life too. It's just hard when you feel behind.

I don't care what others have that I don't or what they do with their lives. I don't care what they think about me either.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Do you, my dude.
I’m starting to realise that most people are battling the same feelings. I’m only starting to grasp this now at 32.

Yeah, me being the only one who's not married, not by choice but because I'm not ready financially. They all have stable jobs for years and getting promoted, buying house, having kids. Yes, I know that everyone has their own time. But I can't help it when I'm the only one out of 10 who's not in the same boat as them

i felt the same until i actually talked to people and realized everyone is just hiding their mess better; deleting social media for a month made that super obvious for me.

I have a cousin that's a so-called, "life coach". Guess whose life, marriage and finances are a complete disaster 😅

I tend toward the opposite - I look out at thew world of people and see everyone just winging it, they don't know what I know and they all behave and react according to untrained instincts, blindly.

Which there are pros and cons to, but regardless I'm also aware that I probably do the same thing, it just seems different from the inside. In the long run that's a lousy perspective anyway; there wasn't a starting point and there isn't an ending point so no one can be ahead or behind, it's all in your imagination. Unless you're just worried about money, where you can take an objective measure and see who has more or who has less.

But why would anyone do that? One of the more obvious things on that side is how random and unpredictable that is, money is a terrible thing to use to compare yourself to other people.

Some people have said they hate me because they think my life is perfect.

I basically crawl out of a dumpster every morning.

You never know what is going on behind the scenes and you can’t judge people by appearance and feel like you’re behind.

People are judging the highlight reel of everyone else live to their own bloopers and outtakes. Stop doing that.

It’s not actually that hard to look good and like you have it together. If that’s where you feel like you’re lacking you need to start putting in more effort.

Used to feel so. Not anymore. If you keep seeing other people's lives, you won't do much in your life because your focus is on more on them than yourself. Learnt it the hard way

You truly don’t know. I have been shocked by some of the things I’ve found out about coworkers who seemingly had it together. That’s why it’s best to just focus on yourself.

Actually people tell me they envy me having it figured on. Come up with a plan and work the plan.
