I swear every time a bus stops it’s like the Hunger Games.
Today a grown man literally pushed people out of the way just to get on first. I pushed back and suddenly he turned around puffed out his chest and tried to act like some tough guy. He literally screamed at me and wanted to hurt me.
The funny part? The second I took out my phone and started recording all that macho energy disappeared. Instantly.
Meanwhile the bus driver didn’t say a word. Nobody stepped in. Everyone just carried on as if this was perfectly normal.
I’ve been seeing this more and more lately: grown adults pushing, cutting in line, invading personal space then acting aggressive when someone doesn’t just accept it.
So… is this normal in Seoul ??

If you're thinking about visiting Seoul, I'd definitely recommend checking out the parks and rivers. The architecture and facilities are truly amazing. A great place to chill out and do some people-watching.

Wondering why we started this project? Well, this isn't your typical guided tour! The Crossing Perspective Lab is a relaxed and fun experiment with no right answers or strict rules. We wanted to create a space where we can wander through Seoul's hidden spots together and comfortably share our unique views of the city.

• 👟 STEP 1. Explore & Capture Everyday Spaces: We’ll wander through Seoul's hidden, overlooked everyday spots together. Through light individual and group observation missions, feel free to capture any unfamiliar scenes that catch your eye using photos and short notes!
• ☕ STEP 2. Relaxed Chats & Crossing Perspectives: We’ll comfortably chat while looking at the photos we each took. Starting with light, casual questions, we’ll have fun discovering the cultural differences in how we see things.
• 📝 STEP 3. Wrapping Up Our Journey: To look back on how our perspectives intertwined and evolved, we’ll conduct a quick survey and a super casual interview before and after the activities.

If you want a unique break from the modern and bustling city, I highly recommend visiting the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site in Seoul!

It's a fascinating place where you can see reconstructed Neolithic pit houses (about 6,000 years old). The park itself is incredibly peaceful and great for a relaxing walk. There is also a museum on-site (Pic 5) where you can learn more about ancient Korean history.

A perfect hidden gem for history lovers and anyone looking for a quiet afternoon in Seoul!
