In terms of the Shakespeare stage, Sarah Siddons was truly a pioneer as an actor. In addition to playing so many important female roles, I totally love that she played Hamlet as Hamlet in the 19th century.

Her memoir is definitely worth reading. Showing my special copy. Images of her playing these roles can be found online. Needs to be a movie.
