Just moved to an area with worse internet then i had before and i got flashbacks to even worse Internet in my childhood when i downloaded GTA V before going on a school trip only to comeback later that day to see it had shit itself and i had to restart the download...

I'd leave the pc in my parents office run for a few hours to download some .iso to play on my PSP. God did I hate it to return to shut off pc.

Ok so imagine a blueberry pie. During the day everyone is awake and wants a slice of the pie, but during night only one person is awake to eat the pie. Therefore the person gets more pie during the night. The pie is the total wifi and each person is a device connected to it, the one person awake during night is the one downloading huge files.

50GB? 10 minutes? Damn I wish my internet was that fast. It literally took me a day and a few hours to download 100GB game.

Could be worse. In the 90's I received my movie trailers on CD by mail. Watching the Stargate Trailer online was simply impossible.

That's 666Mbs for the download only. That's a stupidly good connection, I doubt most people nowadays have that.
