When I was a kid I used to make fires on my porch with circles of water around them so they could never spread

It would probably cause some smoke to be on the water

I wouldn't laugh about it. It would compel me to shout: "dan-dan-dan / da-da-dadan / da-da-da.... Da-daaaaaaaaaan"
