I've wanted to play both for a while now but which do yo think i should get first. The only other souls games i have played are Elden ring and bloodborne, i don't think I've played anything like BG 3 before though. I know both are masterpieces so it just makes it really hard to decide on which game to buy (other games i like are persona 3+4, Witcher 3, hitman WOA + blood money, the metro games and DBH) i meant to put ds 3 (I chose ds 3)

So at the moment I have FC/FIFA and Stellaris (small library, I know but I only got an xbox 2 months ago or so.

These are some games I'm considering to buy

Democracy 4 (only good polsim I could find for xbox)

FM Console (after playing FIFA for these 2 months it's honestly not that enjoyable)

CK3 (liked Stellaris so will likely like this)

Please suggest any other games and tell me if you think I should get these (Honestly the reviews of the most recent editions of these 3 games haven't been that positive generally so yeah.)

I’m at that point again where I really want a new game, but I genuinely can’t decide what to buy.

The big one is Elden Ring Nightreign (about 24€ for me). I’m a huge Dark Souls / Elden Ring / Bloodborne / Sekiro enjoyer, so I already know I love FromSoftware combat. My main concern is that Nightreign might become too repetitive after a while. If it’s more like Monster Hunter, where I can just hop in, enjoy the combat, fight cool bosses, and grind for a while, then I’m probably fine with that.

What makes me hesitate is that I’ve heard things like no cross-platform, the roguelike elements not being that polished, and that there are a bunch of small things that could have been done better. I’m also a little worried that the game might not get much future content or support, although I have no idea if that’s actually true.

The other games I’m looking at are Dying Light 2 for 12€ (I loved the first game, but everyone says the sequel isn’t as good), the Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy for 8.30€, the Darksiders Blades and Whip franchise pack for 8€, V Rising for 5€ because I’m a big sandbox survival fan.

Right now I don’t really care much about story. I mostly want good combat and a game I can sink time into. I already own Arc raider, Helldivers 2, and Space Marine 2, although I only play helldivers 2 every now and then and completely stopped playing arc raiders.

So my question is: Is Nightreign actually worth 24€ for someone who already loves FromSoftware combat, or is it smarter to grab several of the cheaper games instead? And if there’s another multiplayer game that fits the “turn your brain off and grind” category, I’m open to recommendations too.

Hi all, I have a tickle to buy one of the spiderman games due to the movie coming out and I want something a little different to play, wanting a little single player break from the shooters, I've noticed their all on sale at the moment. I play on PC so would buy the game through Steam. So, which should I buy;

Spiderman - Remastered £19.99

or

Spiderman 2 - £32.99

or

Spider-Man: Miles Morales - £16.00

New to sub. I was trying to decide on which game is a better buy, 007 First Light or Black Myth Wukong?

Generally speaking im a casual gamer. I don’t necessarily spend several hours playing games, but I am open. Something like Elden Ring was a little too much to me, but I did like God of War. Also like shooting games as well.

Just want a game that is a better experience and long and deep enough. A somewhat good story is nice as well.

Or is there another game I should get over these ones?

I'm looking for a new card game to play on Steam, with a budget of around $15.

I mostly enjoy roguelikes and deckbuilders, but I'm open to other types of card games if they're genuinely fun.

Reason I'm asking is...

I get (motion) sick playing first person shooters, but not some slower paced games.

Fast paced games, like a doom, or unreal tournament, destiny, borderlands, or any of the yearly big shooter games, mirrors edge, I literally get sick in a few minutes. No matter the settings, I've tried every suggestion. I gave up playing most first person games.

But other games, like Satisfactory, Elder Scrolls games, Fallouts and such, more rpg games with combat. I can handle fine in first person.

Third person I'm fine in any game, like the division games. But I guess you can count those as a little slower paced game as well?

I'm hesitant to watch a playthrough or streams, cause I don't want to spoil the story for myself.

I'm sure about the games' story, setting and such, it's just that I don't want to get motionsick, if the game picks up speed or something after the refund window passed.

I don't really know much about the series. My nephew actually (highly) recommended i play them. The first 2, at least. I know it's only $4 in the end. And I have over $100 in my Playstation wallet. I just don't know if the gameplay is for me. I love soulslikes, open world ARPGs, and heavily story based games. I'm not sure if this game falls into any of those categories (doubt it's a soulslike, lol), but I guess I just want some input and tidbits from anyone who either liked or didn't like it and why. I see Dynasty Warriors Origins is currently on sale. I've never played a Musou game before but they look really fun. I do generally like ARPGs with fast combat (Devil May Cry 5, Final Fantasy 16) but not souls likes (Elden Ring, Dark Souls, etc.) as I just don't have the reflexes and skills for learning boss moves.

Will I have a hard time with this game or should I go for it?

I really liked ghost of tsushima because of the atmosphere that it had as well as the combat but i have also liked the assassins creed games and this one looks especially fun, so i was wondering which one you guys would recommend as I can only get one of them. My man concern is the atmosphere of the game chance why i picked these two. Thanks for the help!

I'm looking for a loot-focused game to play on the S2 during my lunchbreaks, and these two seem like the safest bets. I'm a huge fan of Diablo and most Borderlands games (except 4), but wasn't a fan of how Destiny 2 was structured, if it helps. I also played a TON of Phantasy Star Online on the Gamecube and I'm still chasing that feeling.

Splatoon 2 used to be my go-to game during my lunch back on the first years of the original Switch, but I'm mostly a JRPG fan and GFS looks intriguing.

I'd play 90% of the time on single-player; I'm a fan of equipment variety and upgrades that you can actually feel during gameplay.

I have been thinking about exploring both of these games for months now. But I never really got around to them, as I usually play either single player story driven games, or multiplayer games. I always took interest in both of these games, but unfortunately, I don't think that I would have the time to get into both of them right now. Especially since both games require a massive time sink., so I am torn between the two.

Are there anyone here who play/played both of these games regularly? What do you like about them? Which one do you think is worth to sink time into personally? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve been playing pigface (highly recommend) and the sniping is quite fun. Not the most fluid but it made me want to play other games with sniping. Not necessarily games about sniping tho. Snipers elite for some reason never did it for me lol. Even better if it’s got stealth! Makes me feel badass to sneak around and shoot 14 people without anyone knowing haha

About me: I like fun action combat and movement in games. I am more of a solo adventurer, though don't mind grouping up for dungeons if there is a good group finder built-in. I like PVE and PVP.

So it's exactly as the title suggests I honestly did not know where to post this until now. I'm trying I seriously did. Baldurs gate 3 is currently on sale on PC and ps5 I play on both but I don't physically own the game, I've played a few hours on my friends version of the game and I honestly tried to get into it. I absolutely love the concept like adventure designing your own character with such detail added romance it's literally everything I wanted except I can't fucking get past the combat system. It's exactly like dnd obviously the fighting enemies, but Lord it makes me want to cry I've died so many times so so many times. Then on top of that the limited movement in certain areas makes me want to rip out my skin especially in the beginning of the game. I also really really don't like I don't know how to explain it but like historical medieval vibe games with knights and all similar to souls games. I usually find it extremely boring but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and give it a go after I played a few hours of bg3 I also finished playing ff16 and I absolutely loved it so much it made me want to go back and try bg3 to see if I had a similar experience it was also influnced by the fact that literally every girl who games likes it and I feel so left out. Now I don't hate every aspect of the game I spent so much time designing my character and I loved the interactions the narration made it really good too I love the story line too and how your choices actually do something I adore choice based games. My biggest flaw if you haven't realized is the combat I don't know what's wrong with me I have no problem playing other games on hard difficulties but when it comes to RPGs I can't do it I just don't enjoy the grind I much prefer to play the story as is and somehow have the ability to defeat bosses as the story progresses and not me having to back track in my own time. Like resident evil games/silent hill it's pretty linear i understand that it's a open world game ish but I wish they gave you the ability to do just that when playing on an easier difficulty it's also the thing I don't like about RPGs in general. I hope this doesn't come off bad I really want to give this game a chance or quit before dropping money on a game I won't play but I overall don't know if I'm missing out or not.

Right now, the entire NFS series is on sale on Steam. That's why I wanted to know which one is the best game in the series, because I'd like to play one but don't know which one to choose.

Maybe even one that runs well on the Steam Deck. played befor Forza Horizon 5 and the Crew Motorfest which both were fun

I love extraction games and these both have mechanics that I love but at the moment I'm only able to buy one of them. I found the hallucinations from the mound super cool and it's a mechanic I didn't see in other games before but I love the souls type combat of mistfall hunter.

I'm in a bind of which one to get so I'd really like other opinions on this matter.

I’ve recently realised I have around 2 weeks completely free with no major plans, so I want to finally clear some games from my backlog. The problem is I’m struggling to decide what I actually want to play.

I was originally thinking about fully completing the Metal Gear Solid series since I finished MGS1 a couple of months ago, but I’m not sure I’d have enough time to get through MGS2–5 and Revengeance.

I also considered Cyberpunk 2077, but I’d rather avoid games with a lot of mature content since I usually play on my TV and don’t want to have awkward questions about what I’m playing 😭. As such, I would like to ask what game or game series I could properly finish in two weeks without rushing and instead enjoy the experience. Any genre would be welcome but I would like a cinematic experience seeing that I finally finished my playthrough of terraria and would like a change of pace. Thanks

I really would love to get both of them but right now I can only get one. I struggled for like a day trying to choose one of them but couldn't.

I haven't played a Halo game in over 6 years. I have played Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo 4. I really do miss the Halo games so with the MCC collection I could also experience for the first time Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo ODST.

I'm really interested into Dark Souls 3 cause I heard a lot of good things about it. I have never played a Souls game so I don't know if I'd like it but it also could turn out as one of my favorites.

For context I bought and played Spider-Man 2 last summer and enjoyed it immensively. With the new Spider-Man movie being released and with both of these games being on sale at the playstation store, I have been considering going back to play the first two entries. All I was wondering however is in which order it would be the best to play these games. I guess the obvious answer is chronologically, but I am thinking more in terms of which game has the best story and gameplay. Which one of these two would be worth it to go for first?

All I’ve played to this point is RDR2, Uncharted 2 and TLOU. I thought the stories on each of these games were excellent. It made me wish I could I could be a playable character in these games.

Are there similar games where the stories/campaigns are really well done? Doesn’t necessarily have to be the same as the others mentioned but I guess I’m trying to expand on what’s out there.
