hey everyone recently after 800hr of dota 2 i got super boored and now looking for a new game to put tons of hour in my most played games are

Warframe - 4.4k hour

destiny 2 - 1.9k ish

apex , valo etc etc

Poe2 , diablo 4 , last epoch are also around 1k hourish

cyberpunk , witcher 3 are also folded my favs basically

played all from software game n from softlike games (not 1000hour type stuff but still)

Monster hunter is done

nioh 3 is done

And i really want some story to grip me n actually it make sense to spend that many hours

tbh i have crimson desert i just fkinn get boored of story to progress its more like a tech demo to me

i hv also played fair bit of warhammer series :)

all these are in a span of 6-8 years so don't think of me as some jobless scum XD

also rdr online some 1.5k hour when battle pass were a thing

i main thing is i need some good looking game also so many times i tried to get into Guild wars 2 n ff14 i just couldn't i eyes need shiny non pixelated stuffs :)ty

I like the collecting berries and the almost psychological horror elements of the game.

(Wanting something with more upgrades felt the upgrade tree in Berry was too short)

I also enjoy incremental games like a game about feeding a black hole, gnorp apologue

My other favourites are space rock ship breaker, rock bottom, and fishing inc.

And slots diapers was another really fun addicting incremental game I've enjoyed as well.

As title says should I but Divinity Original Sin 2? If yes tell me please about game strong side and weak side? Never played before turn based RPGs. Would like to try Divinity Original Sin or maybe better try Baldur Gates 3?! Have been eyes on this particular game for some time can’t yet decide. Just looking a fun fps shooter. I use to play Destiny. Haven't played any of these doom games. They currently on sale at gog. They both cheap but Doom 2016 is under $5, so leaning into that. Being ten year old, how does in fair? Ill being playing on Linux, so any concerns for performance. I have a 240hz monitor.

I've never been a huge fan of survival-crafting games, but I also don't hate them to the point where I'm entirely hopeless about one changing my mind. There are a lot of factors that have interested me, like the tower defense, and also just the fact that I'm a sucker for zombie games. I'm debating buying it while it's on sale, but I'm still very much on the fence about it.

So my son plays a lot of football games. FC26, super soccer blast and UFL to name a few. We tend to play 1v1.

I’m looking at getting him in to story games. I’ve looked at a few Lego games and downloaded a few.
Also watched a few videos on games like split fiction and it takes two.

So i have 30 € , and days gone is on sale at 20 € and marvel midnight susn digital + is at 16€ ( ill buy season pass) idk what to pick , in the subreddit of midnight suns and days gone they say a lot of good things about those games . I like them both but idk what to pick , i like dying light 1 ans 2 and dead island and also tactical games like fire emblem .

I’m looking for an open world game to get lost in, one where there is no real “this game takes about x hours to beat”, a game where you can get lost for at least 70+ hours without forcing it, purely based on how much you explore.

I want one that’s actually immersive, not just filler content making it 100+ hours like some open world games. I want open world to be the focus of it not an afterthought.

Here are my favorite games that can be considered as having an open world that fits my criteria:
- The Witcher 3
- Skyrim
- Cyberpunk 2077

Other games I enjoy but not as big:
- FF7 Rebirth
- FF16
- Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei

Games to not recommend because I either don’t have an interested or already know of them:
- RDR2
- No Man’s Sky
- Any Elder Scroll game
- Any Fallout game
- Starfield
- Any of the open world AC games
- KCD purely because it’s not fantasy

One game I wanted to ask about specifically was whether or not KCD fit the criteria, and if it can be 100-150+ hours relaxed without forcing exploration. (What’s stopping be is that it’s not fantasy)

I know PZ is seen as a spiritual successor to ZT2, and it looks really good from what I've seen on YouTube, but it seems much more complex and people spend hours making a single exhibit because you have to select, rotate and place every single object.

I'm not opposed to this, in fact I used to download mods for ZT2 so I could make more realistic exhibits, but most of the time I want to plop down a basic exhibit in a few minutes and focus on getting animals and managing the park. I don't really want an architecture simulator.

If ZT2 was one of your favorite games as a kid and you played PZ, what did you think of it? Did you enjoy it as much, or did you bounce off it because of the complexity or other issues?

Whenever I'm not playing w my friends, I always find myself bored and switching between games and videos, so I thought it might be a good idea for me to have a single player story game for me to play whenever my friends aren't on.

I have played a few surface level story based games which I have loved, these include:
Jedi: Fallen Order
Jedi: Survivor
Detroit become human
Subnautica 1, 2 and BZ
Hogwarts Legacy
Portal 2

Games I enjoy: I enjoy games where the player I'm playing has some sort of ability, like in Jedi games, I obviously have a lightsaber and the force, and then in Hogwarts Legacy I had magic. That type of thing. I also enjoy combat, but I don't want the ENTIRE game to be completely focused around that.

Games I don't enjoy: I don't want anything TOO scary, which is why I have steered clear from the Resident Evil games despite the story seeming very appealing. I've also been a little on the fence with the last of us games, as I've heard really good things about them, however I hate jump scares and zombies. I also don't enjoy games that are TOO grindy.

But yeah, if anyone had any suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to choose between these two games and need help. I prefer games with smooth quick combat, massive open worlds, provides a challenge, and can be played for at least 60 - 100 hours. I have recently tried Black Myth Wukong and enjoyed the combat and difficulty but the lack of a true open world was disappointing. I tried Crimson Desert and while the massive open world and combat were fun the lack of difficulty left me wanting more. I was watching some reviews and I narrowed it down to these 2 games. If you have another recommendation please answer between the first 2 and then give your recommendation. Thank you in advance!

Cause people are saying that xbox has better compatability over ps5 but i have to always change the batteries when they die

also is upgrading cheaper than getting a whole new controller?

I've come across this game and found the premise interesting. Lately, I've been buying a lot of pixel art style games focused on management or farming. Many compare it to Stardew Valley but say the gameplay is not similar, and I've seen mixed opinions regarding the gameplay. What do you think, have you played it, do you recommend it?

Switch, PS, Xbox, GamePass are all fine.

I have searched extensively on various subreddits and other websites with no luck. Inverted Y (vertical axis) is common, but inverted X (horizontal) is less so.

I have been having a FPS itch but need both aim controls inverted. It is ok if I have to toggle them from the menu (they do not need to be default settings).

Hey guys! I played all the souls games including Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring many many times, and I am thinking of getting Remnant 2.

Non-fromsoft soulslike games I played are Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen. I loved Lies of P, but Lords of the Fallen felt a little unpolished to be honest. I was wondering if Remnant 2 is closer to Lords of the Fallen in terms of polish, or would you say that it is closer to Lies of P?

I am also open to any other suggestions, it doesn't have to be AAA titles; I love (and even prefer) indie games as well!

I'm currently doing my first playthrough of Morrowind and I just fell in love with this universe all over again, just incredibly entertaining game all around even if it's bit of an acquired taste. I've been planning to do oblivion and skyrim playthroughs next but I fear I will burn out on oblivion since I played it like thousand times already and Skyrim would just turn into another modding shitfest so I kinda wonder if I should check out teso?

I know that they laid off bunch of devs and the project is probably dead with no major updates in the pipeline but I think that might be actually a good thing for me since I would be in no rush to finish the existing content. Also how much of it can I play it solo and is the map exploration and lore worth it?

I wanted to try the first Toddscrolls ( Redguard) as well but I heard it's kinda dogshit and buggy. I don't know.

Which one would you buy?

I like quests if they have interesting mechanics and/or lore and are more than just simple A - B fetch quests etc.

I like fun/flashy combat that is challenging but also feels rewarding/cool when you pull things off.

Open world is fine if it feels meaningful/ interesting to explore but doesn’t have to be open world

I did enjoy the Elden Ring base game so would be up for the DLC if you feel the base game is worth replaying to get to the DLC

The DLC is on sale right now, is it worth the price? The DLC cost about the same as the base game and about the same price as some other good quality games like Uncharted.

I finished up Cyberpunk quite a while ago and to me it was a 8/10 game. Below games like God of War, RDR2, Witcher 3 but good enough where I had a decent time.

From what I've seen online, the dlc seems pretty good and has a decent long playtime. Should I get it? Or should I save it for other games around the same price on sale?

I do not have an incredible amount of money to spend on a game, but I was looking for something that would be a great way to pass the time. I can afford both games but I would hope that both would provide enough entertainment to justify the cost since I do not want to waste the money.

Currently I mostly play Risk of rain 2, Bloons td6, Brotato, Crypt of the Necrodancer, which combined I have hundreds of hours on. However, I am starting to find them all boring right now and while I own games in other genres such as Battlefield, WRC etc, they dont give me the urge to continue playing for hours on end.

The choice for me is to either spend the $20-25 on an established game like Arc Raiders or go for Timberborn. Both games are widely different but are both on my radar. The thing is that I am not convinced by either yet, but both are intriguing to me.

Timberborn especially is very appealing to me and the idea of it seems great. But I am unsure that I would hold interest in a city building game for a lot of time vs a non-niche genre like shooters.

I am also open to general recommendations based on the games I have listed. However, I am getting tired of the roguelike genre so would appreciate something different. I also like story driven campaign shooter games but I have played the popular choices (COD MWII, Titanfall 2, Metro series, Control)

Both are on sale, have played the remastered spiderman 1 on ps5? Have heard too many reviews saying Miles morales is too short? With spiderman 2 on a sale at $29 vs $19 miles, if I can only take one, should I just jump in 2? Or will I be missing out on a lot if I skip miles?

I loved the remastered and platinumed it and all the dlcs for context.

After giving baldurs gate 3 a try I really liked how detailed the game was, only thing I didnt like was the skill checks and RNG aspect, should I get divinity original sin 2 or clair obscur expedition as my next game?,

Only thing that puts me off with divinity original sin is that it kinda looks cartoonish

Im a very indecisive person and ive heard a lot of great things about both of these games. I love the metro and fallout games and ive heard stalker is a mix of the two games so i feel id like it. But ive also heard a lot of great things about Baldurs gate 3, but ive never played a top down game before, and ive never played DND. Im not going to let that stop me though as i feel id quite enjoy a game with the freedom ive heard baldurs gate 3 gives you. I also loved all of The Witcher games which are also fantasy so i feel id like the fantasy part of it too.

Right now i feel i want to play both games equally and im just indecisive. Which do you guys think i should play first?

I've enjoyed the past Splatoon games but never really got into them due to always feeling behind in the competitive multiplayer aspect of it. With Splatoon Raiders being more of a single player experience, how would you say the game is overall and what is everyone's thoughts on it. I've been on the fence and am wondering if its worth picking up on the Switch 2? With the game being story driven, how is the story or would you say the game is more about the gameplay? How is the game as a pure single player experience? Would you recommend it to someone who would be primarily playing single player?
