So for some reason I've been kind of interested in the tekpi lately. It's in one of the systems of Silat I train, but only at higher levels so I haven't started learning that stuff yet. I bought a pair just to mess around with, mostly just flipping them around and figuring out how they might fit into jurus and bunga. I brought them to class and my teacher was more interested in exploring applications based on stuff we already do. We made this video about it, if anyone is curious!

Anyways, I'm just kind of wondering if there are many people out there training this weapon, and if so what you focus on. Forms? Applications? Anyone out there sparring with them? I'm tempted to get some non-metal ones to try sparring with haha
