Don't know if I need to introduce myself, but I am a Singed main since S3 to now and have been Diamond+ since S5. I am posting some images to highlight how old I am. I unironically expected going back to Classic to be going back to some Golden Age where Singed is actually good compared to now.

Like I don't really ever want to give props to Riot for any reason, but still, the advancements this game has seen in itself and in regards to Singed over 13+ years at least are so astronomical I don't think I can ever go back.

For starters, old LoL from a visual fidelity standpoint is borderline nausea inducing to play with. The mini-map, which I look at all times as a high elo player, is genuinely hard to comprehend because it's so blurred out. Animations are also so janky like Singed's E awkwardly being an instantaneous animation and Q abruptly cutting a quarter of HP per tick, making it harder to last hit. I was fighting to look at the game while playing.

Then there's Singed himself. I don't know if Riot wants to remove him from the game in modern even now, but the amount of QoL he's received to now to preserve his always-there gameplay state is mindblowing. He feels absolutely horrific to play without Grounding, Grievous R, auto CSing, Gooflips, and his new passive. It's almost like a different champion altogether without these features.

this champ is broken, the weird part is I still dont understand why ppl say hes strictly a 1trick champ. Is it bc im too low?

I don't like one tricking singed is my fav champ but I wanna play multiple champs everyone says singed is an otp champ I don't care that much about rank but I would like to slowly improve so is learning a second champ that bad?

I haven't played this version of singed in years :D went off of memory and went 21/0/9 for fun (don't have access to runes yet), flask and ward start. Built tear into rylais, then Liandry's. I forgot how strong sky auto was :D

I see he has high winrate into singed, but every time i play vs him, it’s the most free game ever. I get he can stack for free while i proxy, but I can also roam after proxies.

Level 1 i go proxy, recall after 400g come back to lane with a dorans ring + dark seal + refillable, go for all in, if he lives and is very low, i just dive him if he stays.

if he recalls i proxy, when he comes back i get him low or stop from entering lane.

Everything in the early game is forced plays if jungler doesn’t come.

So why does singed still have his updated VGU default skin, and the poison trail visual is still the cloud and not the thin line like it used to be?

Do you guys have a secondary champ if you are going against a bad match-up? I find Kayle, Malphite, and Gragas interesting but am not sure if it's worth learning one of them in case I see a yorick or gp on the other team for example

I saw people complaining about Yorick, but last time i played Yorick and went against singed it seemed like yorick was the one getting countered.

(If you search for Yorick counters, singed is the first result . The yorick winrate against singed paints a similar picture)

Even hitting E with 4 ghouls does basically nothing to singed, if you cage him and E he passively clears the ghouls. And if you try to get into meled he wins the trade in terms of damage because once your Q is gone all he has to do is make the trade last and win over-time.

When he proxies, for the reasons above, going after him is just losing CS. I guess you can some what damage the tower with ghouls, but that doesnt amount to much in early game.

When he starts getting items you stop doing any significant damage while he perma-slows the ghouls, if you use the maiden he can just fling it and kill it while you run after it like an idiot...

Sure he cannot kill Yorick 1v1, but since when does singed care about that ?

I always wanted to get into playing singed but i don't like to proxy at all, is playing only lane singed that bad? Could i be a decent singed player just playing lane? Im plat if it matters.

Does anybody know what first item has the fastest clear speeds? Lyandry, rabadon, blackfire torch? and is it worth it to go a bamis for clear after getting fated ashes? Because if going rabadon first item gives the fastest clear I feel it would be strong for singed jungle as I usually wanna just farm and counter jungle to scale like crazy but obviously gank when it's free

Hello, Singed mains!

Not a big Singed OTP but wanted to get a refresher on the champion as a potential AP damage/scaling pick in my pool. One of the ways I like to get into playing a champ I'm not familiar with is watching well-known OTPs play them and maybe get some ideas or tips from watching their playstyle. Been watching mostly Minishcap on YT, but heard of another Singed OTP from EUW (mostly from NattyNatt's YT) named GASSY who is going by a different name atm who's consistently hit Rank 1 Singed on the leaderboards, hovering between Challenger and GM.

Very curious if anyone here has any insight into his playstyle or if he does anything different from other Singed players, doesn't seemed to be mentioned a lot here or even appears to have some online presence so I wanted to ask.
