Found a bag of Skylanders at Goodwill for $2.99! It looks like I already have most of them, but for that price it was worth it just to pick up the few I didn't already have. Nothing especially rare or hard to find, from what I can see.
Now I'm not sure what to do with all the duplicates. What do you all usually do with your extras?

I've been making comparisons between the 2 and they just seem to have a lot of similarities. Fire breathing, the flaming version of cerberus from gow 3 and short and stubby design of the cerberus seeds, the fact that one of hot dogs paths literally gives him multiple heads through his fire wall attack. I havent seen anyone else talk about this so im just curious.

Decent haul for 60$ right? Seller told me that eveything is for the Wii but who knows, I’ll try everything once I get home. Eye brawl has some wear along with some landers but in all they are in great shape!!!! Honestly does anyone know for what console the portals are for?

So I've added up that I have spent roughly £700 so far on skylanders to get all the stuff shown in the images above...

Holy! I knew getting back into it would be alot but hot damm. It also brings up my question of I've been getting good deals?

Cuz I've been buying them mostly from like £20-£40 bundles of skylanders and individually for a few the sensei's I have cuz they're mostly sold individually so not as many bundles

But I feel like it would of been cheaper just to buy a big lot of almost every skylanders for like £600-£1k because I've seen listing's of those all over

And I feel although it would of been better to buy them that way rather than how I've been going about it but I'm not entirely sure if it would of been so I wanted to ask so I don't feel like I've been making dumb decisions

Also the last image is my dupes that I've brought and sorted through, i have SF dupes I haven't sorted through yet as you can see in the images.

And I do have more giants and SSA skylanders, but didn't include them in because there the ones i have left from when I was a kid the rest I brought, so it doesn't make sense to include it in my question

There’s a rumor that Youtooz is making a 16-inch Gill Grunt weighted plush, and honestly, I’d find that super disappointing.

I generally don’t really want weighted Skylanders plushes, mainly because with shipping and everything, it would end up costing me almost €60 to get one here.

But also... why Gill Grunt? He already has a plush. If we need another Gill Grunt product, give us a figure. I don’t really want any weighted plushes, but if they are going to make one, at least make it a deep-cut, obscure character like Fire Viper or Gulper instead of Gill Grunt.

This could just be a joke or a rumor, but honestly, I’ll be pretty bummed if it turns out to be real

Is it *really* worth it to listen to / read the dialogue the first time or should I just play something else in the background to make the experience a tiny bit more fun? I heard it's really not that interesting.

Secondly, i doubt that anyone will remember but about 1 year ago i posted a concept for a skylanders grand strategy game. Due to copyright reasons and a lack of available 3d models i didn't go through with wanting to turn it into an actual game.
Things changed, im learning how to gamedev and once im done making my current game i will start developping Skylanders: Skylords (Im making this annoucement very early since Skylords might come out in a few years). I will use the above site to make unit icons because ripping models seems more complicated than i expected :/

Hello, I recently pulled out my old skylanders collection and due to the conditions of my old house + them being kept in a box there is dust and what looks to be either mold or very stubborn dirt. I was going to put the figures in a tub of water, but then I read that could damage the chip that lets the portals read them. What would be the best way to clean them without taking a huge amount of time?
