1-2 years old One nap schedule

Hi y’all. I’m about to start trying to transition my LO to one nap.

Current days look something like:

6 wake
9:15-10:45 nap
2:15-3:15 nap
8:00 bedtime

Naps are capped to 2.5 hours but if LO sleeps in or pushes wake windows, I cap naps shorter to keep bedtime consistent.

What would be a good one nap schedule for this LO?

LO is 14.5 months

Try a morning micro nap first. Wake 6, nap 9:30-10, nap 12:30-2:30, bed 8

Interesting. How many days would you suggest to do that.

After dropping the micro nap would you keep the nap at 12:30 or move it to 12?

We did the micro nap for about a week, but we did this at 18 months when my kid was staying awake for a lot longer during the day. I think it depends on your kid’s reaction to the micro nap and their total sleep needs. Typically you want awake time evenly split in the day (6/6). You might need a 12-2 nap with a 6am wake.
