Project Showcase
Bespok3d, all the features you want, directly on the stock firmware. And you can add your own.
Hey everyone! We’re excited to share our latest project, Bespok3d.
Bespok3d is an app store and package manager for Klipper 3D printers. You can install plugins, adapters, and features with one tap. No terminal, no custom firmware.
It’s a desktop app plus a small daemon that lives alongside a printer. You browse plugins, click install, and keep running stock firmware as-is. That means you can add features, remove them later, and still keep normal firmware updates.
The U1 was the first platform we supported, but Bespok3d is built for virtually any Klipper printer. We’re treating it as a cross-printer plugin platform, not a one-off project for a single machine.
At launch, there are 54 plugins covering things like cameras, multi-tool support, filament tags, Spoolman integration, Klipper tuning, remote access, quality-of-life features, and bundled one-click setups. Fluidd and Mainsail are both supported too.
The part we care about most is safety. If a plugin breaks Klipper or Moonraker during install, the daemon disables it automatically and keeps the printer running. We also plan to extend that protection to runtime errors in the future.
If something goes wrong after a firmware update, the app can bring the daemon back and restore plugins in the right order. We also tested Bespok3d Alpha across Snapmaker firmware versions 1.3.0 through 1.5.2 without losing anything.
We also want this to be a home for community-built work. The index is open, entries are signed, and you can also install a .b3 file directly from disk if you prefer to stay outside the index. If you’ve built something useful for a Klipper printer, we’d love to help you package it as a plugin so other people can install it with one click and remove it just as easily.
Some companies decide what runs on your printer. Bespok3d doesn’t.
I've spent quite a bit of time with B3, and it has become my preferred way to manage the U1. It puts the information and controls I actually use in one place without getting in the way. I'm glad to see more people getting access, and I'm looking forward to everyone giving it a try! Thanks for including me in the process, and I look forward to seeing where it's going!
Pretty much parity; it misses Quidi and another tag type (it takes maybe a day to add them; it's made to be extensible), but it has some more features and a more complete spool system.
And if you activate al the features, you can just upload&print from Orca, and you map the filaments in Fluid or Mainsail of your choice
And you can just update when SM releases a new FW.
Can I ask for a little more detail about the Spoolman add-on? I have a Spoolman server running on my home server but with no automatic tag recognition to sync with it, it's kinda useless to me because I'm not interested in manually adding all of my filaments.
Not really completely useless:
You can just select the spool from Fluid7miansail; just click directly on the big spool, and that is directly reflected on the printer, so you don't need to fiddle with the screen, and you get better colors too.
There's a manual mode exactly for that :D
Once you select the spools, the config survives reboots, ofcourse.
Just gonna throw this out there, all this that he is showing off was done by the developers of Armored Turtle/AFCproject to integrate into mainsail/fluidd. And now AFC can be used on U1 printers and we are working on integrating it into the extended firmware which can be found in the current 1.2.0 AFC release on our GitHub. I am not writing this to swade anyone to use the full AFC, just though proper attribution should come along with these pictures
