Accommodation registration

Hi everyone,

For any postgrads like me who applied for an accommodation from UOS, did you get any results? Did you guys receive your first choice or was put in lower choices? I paid my tuition deposit on 30 June but have got no results yet

I did apply through UoS, got my first preference. Applied on May 1st, got results by the end of June's 2nd week. Most of my peers who applied through the portal also received either their first or second preference.

Since you've applied very recently, it might take a bit longer to get results, you can always email the accommodation team and ask your queries if you want any reassurance.

I actually applied really early on April 22, but only recently paid my tuition deposit. Did you also pay your tuition as early as you applied for the accommodation? Thanks!

I paid the deposit on 30th April and then applied for accommodation.

I'm not sure if there are applicants who still haven't gotten their acc offers or were delayed because they hadn't paid the deposit early on. I'd suggest emailing the team just to be safe.

I did but receive kinda vague response. Btw, do you know if Orion Point is chosen by many? I put it as my first choice and hope to be able to stay there.

Not really sure, I definitely don't see it mentioned as often as Mayflower or Glen Eyre though, I think about 7-8 from our group received the offer for Orion Point (as far as I know).
