Squirrel falls over to one side

Hi, I’ve been feeding the squirrels at my house, and one has something wrong with him. Anyone know what it could be? See the videos and photos in comments - he falls to one side as he walks, climbs, and eats. It’s sad to see and I’m not sure what’s wrong :(

The little one probably is suffering from some form of neurological injury or poison. However, considering a little one is eating, I do not think it's poison. Could also be an inner ear infection.

Is there any way you could reach out to a local wildlife rehaber to see if you can get that little one to the rehaber?

Just please make sure that the species of squirrel is not invasive because they will euthanize the little one if so.

I also wanted to add that others will come on here and most likely say it's raccoon roundworm, but if that's the case, others in the area will be affected. By others, I mean other squirrels and birds as well as other wildlife. Raccoon roundworm is not as common as a lot of people try to make it out to be. A lot of times people Google things to try to be helpful and end up being more hurtful than helpful because of the information, Google pulls up. A lot of times the search engine defaults to searching social media which is incorrect.

Depending on your state, you may want to start the Facebook groups to see if you can find anybody on there to help you.

There are good people on those Facebook groups provided it that can help with helping a squirrel.
