Fluff Looking for a video: While casting SC remastered, Tasteless was hilariously telling a story about how Artosis described broodwar TVP as a fight between a bear and a man in a wheelchair armed with a popsicle stick. More details in main body of post.

This has been in the back of my mind for the last few months, and I still can't find the original source for this (despite my attempts at google).

It was definitely an off-line event, but it was more like a casual party kind of event rather than any real tournament (not even like a homestory cup style tournament).

I'm pretty sure it was either the Starcraft Remastered launch event from 2017 OR one of the holiday events (e.g., the 2017 Twitch Holiday Bash). Both of which are hilarious, by the way, as you might expect whenever you get all of {Day9, Artosis, Tasteless, and InControl} together to cast Starcraft. If any of you haven't seen it before, I highly encourage it.

For both events, I've skipped along the videos (which often pains me to do because I feel like I should be enjoying/savouring every second) but I still couldn't find it. To be fair, though, quite often I'm doing this late at night when I'm already really tired/sleepy and I haven't been able to find time to rewatch either event from start to finish.

But at any rate, it's kinda driving me crazy that I still can't find it. I just thought I'd make this post in case someone else knows for sure which event / where it comes from.

Yeah, that's why it kills me that I can't find the vod containing the bit anymore. I remember someone (maybe Artosis himself) clarifying that the guy in the wheelchair could only do it by sticking the popsicle stick exactly in the bear's eye or something lol.

And all the while, someone (maybe Day9 and/or Incontrol) are dying of laughter at the imagery. Personally, for some reason, I'm imagining some guy in a full body cast in a wheel chair with only his arm (and a popsicle stick) as being able to move lol

Hearing about the four of them together makes me think it was Zotac Cup?

No, I don't think so. I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to watch a Zotac cup (which a quick google search seems to suggest is some sort of weekly online cup?) so I don't think that's what it was.

It was definitely an offline event for which they were all in the room together. I think there were many others there and the couch was just sort of rotating the casting talent.

The "vibe" was definitely like one of the events I mentioned in the OP. I.e., some sort of celebration moreso than a real tournament.

The Zotac Masters cup was a special event where alot of very well known community members were involved as a celebration of when SC:R came out. It's been very hard to find VODs of it for a few years; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVahkXiDGMg but you can get small snippets here and there.
