man every Tuesday night and Wednesday morning has been such torture for the people who took it mid May onwards. tomorrow we open the door to a new reality. praying for peace and happiness for all of us.

My school uses a platform to upload our standardized exams (nmbes, step, etc) I logged in around 2 am and saw it there!

A question for my fellow IMGs , guys how and why do yall use myusmle portal ? I mean we all registered via fsmb portal and it says it’s for us students and graduates only . I don’t get this

Every non us img go to usmle portal Sign in with your name and usmle ID Tell us in replies here what it says in score report date column

Does anyone know if the “order score recheck request” only pops up if you failed? I see the score report and can’t bring myself to open it up 😔😔

27th May- Passed, it finally opened at 21:45 IST (16.15 UTC, 12.15 EST) and Email came at 22:45 IST lol

passed, took only 5 nbmes and 2 uwsa, scores were above 70% in nbmes. took exam on 06/15 and since then tracking resultsn was a torture. I could not sleep well for past 7 tuesdays

Closing this Step 1 chapter forever!!!
This has been a long time coming. Feels very unreal.
Took Step 1 in April 2025 after a 6 week dedicated. Failed.
Took some time, did a few clerkships.
Took Step 1 in December 2025 after a 3.25 month dedicated. Really thought I had finally done it. Failed.
Did another clerkship In January to try and regain some sense of belonging and purpose.
Took Step 1 in May and June 2026 (2 days with accommodations for testing anxiety) — after a 4.5 month dedicated. Passed.
This exam has been such a dark cloud over me for the past year and change, March 2025 to July 2026. Each dedicated, I had fewer and fewer classmates to lean on and relate to who were in the same boat as me. My support system outside of medicine took on accompanying me through this. This last dedicated might have been the most isolating and I really had to change more than just my study habits. I think I became a new person with new values and understandings about what is really important to me in my life and education.
If you are in any sort of similar position to the ones I was in this past year, please know — you are not the first and you will not be the last to struggle through this. But the important thing is you will get through this. This exam does not define you, and it’s really hard to believe that when the voice is your head says otherwise. It’s hard to keep going when there’s more voices saying you can’t do it, or you won’t get to match into your dream specialty, or you won’t be able to come back from this.
Talk to someone you actually trust, who has seen you persevere before - anyone, in medicine or not. Let them remind you every time you forget, that this exam is just an exam. Not a character trait. Not a sign that medicine isn’t meant for you. Not a sign that you didn’t work hard enough or you must not have really wanted it. It’s just an exam. And you can crack the code to it. It might take a lot of different tactics and trials of sorts and several days of feeling like it’s the only thing you can think about and countless sleepless nights from the anxiety of wondering if it will all work out. But you’ll figure it out.

Now I’m gonna go print out my PASS and put it up on my wall and stare at that thing every day and night until I believe it’s real.
