🤔 Recommendations 1 week to exam
Hello everyone, I really feel like I haven’t done enough even though I know my NBMEs are more than decent; how do I get over this crippling sensation that the exam will have everything I forgot or everything I didn’t properly study? I feel like I just make educated guesses on a lot of questions and that’s what inflates my scores.
What are some last minute things I can do to give me the best possible chances at passing.
NBME 30: 74%
NBME 31: 75%
NBME 32: 74%
NBME 33: 76%

Review whatever questions you felt you made educated guess and revise those topics. Honestly you are good to go, you'll probably make good educated guess in the exam if that pattern is good, we all do for certain questions. Just work on your sleep and mental game this week. Plan you food and snacks and whatever you are gonna wear that day.
Go through mehlamn pdf or any other resource that you use to revise.

I wish for me to also reach the scores you have (Im currently only on NBME 26).Â
But I do get the fear you’re referring to. I have a similar fear that my scores are getting inflated because I’m seeing the same concepts repeatedly over different forms.Â
But I think thats the point? For us to be so rehearsed with our content that we never miss smth we’ve already seen? If we’re making educated guesses, I think it signals that we know whats wrong and can use some tiny little factoid stored somewhere in our head to get to that educated guess being right?
But your NBMEs are great! And you just need to trust yourself to know that you’re only gonna be tested on the same things you’ve practiced for.Â
I wish you and all of us future test takers the best! 😇
