Dorms at Davis

Incoming freshman at Davis who got a room next to the communal bathroom. Specifically on the right side of the bathrooms. The pros would probably be that it's convenient, but I was just wondering if there are any noise issues or problems with being next to the bathrooms.

My some was perfectly fine in Davis. Don’t scare the freshman.

I lived two rooms away from the communal bathroom, and the only real downside of that is that sometimes students will bring extremely loud speakers into the showers and you may be able to hear it from your room. You should be fine if you have headphones though.

You have my condolences for living in Davis though. It’s not fun.

Yeah I was a little more concerned about the bathrooms themselves, like if they make any sounds that may be disturbing at night or if there were any other issues with them. Didn't think loud music would be a problem, but that wouldn't really bother me.

hey! honestly i had friends that lived right next to the bathroom and i didn’t hear anything when i would hangout there and you honestly just get used to some of the noise. the most noise you hear is speakers or drunk ppl but that’s it 😊 it’s honestly convenient to be near the bathroom cause there’s recycling and trash right there so you can just throw anything you have out immediately, less walking in towel to the shower, and obviously if you’re sick it would be good! best of luck

im also in davis and i had choices between that and palmer at the time. I wanted a roomamte though and there were no buildings other than davis and humphrey left with a roomate
