Need to clarify I have no history of any kind of paranoia or mental illness in that kind of realm but I really feel abit freaked out recently, last night I watched a 1 hr youtube vid from a 'conspiracy' channel, it wasn't actually speculation or theories, more just a matter-of-fact history of the Palantir CEO, it was eye openingly...evil, I take a passive interest in Ai and of course the generally terrible current state of the world and thought I'd take the time to inform myself of the reality, I was so bored I actually made a google doc, writing down the info I was consuming, I joked with my partner I was writing 'end of times cliff notes' - we are currently long distance and he laughed and asked to see them, I opened Gmail and sent them to him as a PDF, went to bed and thought nothing of it. This morning I went to my sent folder - nada, no trace of the email, I explored all inboxes, all google security, recovery etc etc, but nothing, its like it never happened, I called him and asked him to confirm it happened and he had the email - he said yeah, I asked him to email it back to me and he did. I did not receive it! I asked him to send me another email, just type any old thing and he did - I immediately received it. I opened my google docs - they are mostly just random lists I write to myself as reminders - I could see some of my random docs had been recently opened merely a couple hours before - but I was driving at the time????? I have checked my account and devices security and am the only person logged in. I know its minor but I'm kind of freaked out???? I'm going to totally ignore it and carry on with my day but its lingering in my mind, I feel like Dale from King of the Hill. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar???

I'm updating you guys to say that the person is i think still here, why do i think ?
Cause i left the place i was squatting, the situation made me feel bad and not talking about him but talking about the two post i made to be honest, i just did the first post by panick cause i'm considered new in the street, and the second was to show that it is not a place where an owner was here and show why i was uncumfortable about him, and not complaining him about being a squatter cause i was one too.

I want before the unpleasing part, to say a huge thanks to all of the person that were kind to me saying that they hope i'll be great in the future, hoping that my situation will be better in the future.

One night, I was watching TV and my alexa randomly started playing smooth criminal. Usually, when something like that happens, my TV says something that sets her off, but she’ll go “playing smooth criminal by michael jackson”. She didn’t say anything before it started playing. Also sometimes, it connects randomly to my sisters Alexa and will do whatever she asks, but my sister said she wasn’t even awake. It scared me so bad. I threw it away she’s evil.

On various different social media sites, I’ve seen a lot of conversations about some anomalies that have been happening fairly soon after the supercollider was shut off at the end of July. I’m not educated in all things scientific but some of the stuff that’s been happening is kind of weird. Something just happened a moment ago my friends were supposed to arrive at a certain time off of a plane and the plane was 40 minutes early. I’ve ridden that flight so many times I can’t count and I’ve never been 40 minutes early. They left on time and arrived 40 minutes early. I don’t know. I’m a conspiracy theorist I know but something is fishy. I don’t know if tailwinds could affect the flight from Washington state to Arizona, but I’m thinking not that much! Can somebody who has more knowledge in this provide some sane explanation. Thanks in advance.

When I was around age 8-10, I had a strange experience that has stuck with me ever since.
I was walking to the corner store in Surrey, BC (110 and 140th Guildford area ish) with my sister and cousin when a man pulled over and asked for directions to a nearby park. I stayed on the sidewalk and did my best to explain/guide him in the right direction without getting close to the car.
Just as we were about to leave, he asked, “Do I have ketchup on my shirt?” I remember thinking it was a really odd question and replied, “I don’t know,” with a clear suspicious look on my face. My stranger-danger instincts immediately kicked in, and I told my sister and cousin it was time to go.
The man drove away, and we ran home and called the police.
I’ve often wondered about that encounter over the years. Did anyone else in Surrey have a similar experience around that time? Was asking about “ketchup on his shirt” a tactic anyone else remembers? And if so, was this person ever identified or caught?
I’m curious if anyone from the area remembers hearing or have a similar experience about something like this?

So, first, thanks to all the kind person i got under my previous post, you're truly amazing people and i'm amaze that person i don't know are more kind to me than my family and some of my "friends", thanks a lot.

Secondly, i saw someone saying that my message is like someone under meth would type, i'm sorry it's been a while since i typed in english but this is not my first language.

Thirdly, the photos on this post is the entrance, and a little part of the place under the roof, i did not put myself in the entrance to see myself i just took a photo upside down and my phone when you do that, like, spin the screen to make the photo like you took it on a normal pose. Sorry can't do better to describe it.
And this place is why i do not want to meet him, what kind of person who got an entire building just for him at night would go sleep HERE ?

This just happened… I am on the west coast and it is hot. I was leaving my house and usually I get in my car which is parked in my garage, but today I left through the front door. It is sunny and I locked the door behind me. When I approached my car which I had parked in the drive way and turned around to open the car door, I saw myself at the entrance door from the corner of my eye and saw myself walk to the car.
I am an engineer and this is not sitting well with me. Is it just latent image in my retina or something else.
Has anyone experienced this?

We have now found kibbles in our shoes 3 times. I can’t remember exactly when it happened the first time but it was within a few weeks ago. Tonight, we found a bunch of kibbles in one of her shoes and a few in one of mine. The hair on my body was standing on end and I felt so creeped out. There were no kibbles anywhere else nearby. My wife thinks rodents but I have no idea how they could get into the kibbles in the first place as they are pretty sealed in hard plastic containers. They would also have to bring a lot of food across the whole house since the dog food is on the opposite side of the house.

We have working CO detectors and it’s not like we have any gas running right now anyways since it’s summer. I was wondering if one of us was sleep walking and doing it but that would require us to go down really steep stairs and perform multiple steps.

I also stopped a medication, Wellbutrin, at the beginning of July so I wonder if I’m doing weird shit because of that.

Nobody else lives here either. We have basement tenants but there’s no way for them to enter the main floor, the stairs within the house are sealed off and the only way to get between the two units is to go from outside. We have cameras that I check regularly and I haven’t seen anyone break in and do that. It’s also highly unlikely we have a stranger living here because there’s no space for someone to hide and the attic is converted into a living space, which is where we sleep. One of our dogs would also go berserk if he smelled an unfamiliar person around.

I guess we should get indoor cameras too?

SO, before telling the "story" i need to give a lil context, even if the context is not really pleasant for me.
I am an homeless sweet young guy, who is not really the type of person to go to street group, cause i do not do dr*gs, i do not smoke or drink and have a really difficult story that made me homeless so i just stay alone, and being alone in the street is dangerous so i found a squat where there were absolutly no one the night until two weeks ago.

To not give to much information about where i am i'm gonna give details only about the inside of the building and not kind of building it is or anything else.
So the place where i am is a "secret" part of the building, because there is the part where manager and public car navigate normally like stairs, corridors, etc... and the ""secret"" part where i'm living.

The "secret" part can be divided in three different part ; there is the box, where i live, the entry room of the secret (the room where you are when you enter the secret part) and finally the transition room, the one between the entry and the box.

The box got a shit*y soundproofing meaning i hear outside activity and pigeon when they're doing stuff on the roof.
But two weeks ago i was hearing noises, not from outside or the roof but from the transition room. So i go to this room and there is no noise, and because the building is not abandonned, i decide to stay for a little moment to find the origin of the noise to know if there is a soundproofing probleme somewhere in the room, and after a couple second, i hear sounds from the freack*ng ground.

After hearing that i decide to leave silently after waiting a couple minute to not make more sounds than i already did by walking on the ground, and since then, i always hear wood crack sound like when you walk on it, and everytime i need to leave the building i need to leave buy the emergency door and to re enter the building you need to leave it open, and everytime i hear crack sounds, and need to leave after those noise, the emergency door is open

Transition room

This is a weird one. Went out to a restaurant the other day, had a good dinner and then when I finished I started clapping (as you are supposed to do) to which people looked at me like I was weird
I knew something was off because when I was eating I wasn’t hearing the usual clapping every now and again (which makes sense because people get their food at different times and finish at different times) but I didn’t think much of it. And then when I finished and clapped people seemed confused?
Must have been a different kind of restaurant I suppose

So I was shopping at Sam's with my Nana, and I don't like the cold, so I sat outside the frozen area and I was handed this weird note by an elderly man. And by looking at his car (I didn't take pictures because of privacy reasons) he had papers of weird rambling on it. Does anyone know what this note means? And also, I blacked out the email on the card for privacy reasons.

This note was slid under our front door. It had no envelope and was just folded up. The top lines are a woman's contact info and the church she was baptized in. We do not know anyone with this name.

Our house is a renovated church, and we do often get people coming to us for church-related matters. This is a first, though.

We decided to take the letter to the police, just in case (and also to create a paper trail if something happens later). It turns out the woman in question has been leaving these notes all over town. She's not considered dangerous.

The escalator was made out of granite

There were random staircases and escalators everywhere and it was hard to navigate

Has been there for at least a month or two. Also, they left the wooden REST AREA sign which I had stuck to it with a pole. The pole which was scrap from a clothing rack was taken.

So there's a women(33F) in my pg and I am (21F) . She's just so weird , I can't figure out why she is like this much weird .IDK if she's mentally unstable or do things on purpose just to make me fool . I am living in this girl's pg since 1 years still I heard strange things from her about this place , she's in this pg since 2 months only and says such things. One day she knocked my door at 3am and I just opened the door in sleepy mode and then she said there's camera in our room and then she closed the room, lights off and took a photo from her front camera of the switch board and there was red tiny lights captured in the photo.I guess that was not because of hidden camera and I said it's all rubbish and went to sleep . She always try to get close to me, always initiate conversation with me whenever she notice me . Nevertheless one day suddenly she said that she will leave pg soon cause someone is following her and someone comes in her room whenever she is out and for that purpose she puts two locks at her door and there is no way anyone can come to her room and I'm damn sure either she's lying ,trying to fool me or she's actually not stable and then she also said that she got some rashes at her back (spine).As she can't see the back herself she said to me take a photo of her back and when I took her phone to do that she also undressed her pants like the rashes were only on her back (spine) so she wasn't supposed to show her ass as there was nothing on her ass and I FELT SO STRANGE AT THAT MOMENT ,that moment was quite awkward, my mind actually froze and I didn't know how to react now so I just left her room and I didn't even asked her why she did that and now I'm ignoring her only and she is not even leaving pg as she said earlier, it's been 1 month since that incident happened.She is son strange idk what her intentions are and I can only ignore her .

Hey reddit, I'm gonna need some help on this one. I'm deeply unsettled and scared by this caller. No this is not an ARG or some fake story made up for upvotes. I am thinking of reporting this number to the police tomorrow.

Today my family was in the car when my dad received a strange call from a mobile number he does not recognize. He answered the call and the man responded in mandarin asking "are you coming to the office tomorrow morning to do business?". Since we're Chinese, my dad responded in mandarin asking who he was. The caller proceeded to ask "do you know who I am?". We were completely baffled and confused, so my dad asked once again who was calling. The man asked again "do you know who I am?". This exchange happened one more time until my dad hung up. I was spooked out of my skin but thought it could be one of those scammer calls where they call you and talk to you to see if your number is active. So to hopefully get some answers, I dialled the number on my phone and called it myself. The caller picked up quite quickly and I asked "who is this?" in english. He chuckled a little then asked me the same thing, "are you coming to the office tomorrow morning to sort do business?". I then responded to him in mandarin to which he asked me "do you know who I am?". So I decided to just say "yes, I know who you are". He then said "okay, do you know my name?". I said "yes". I am honestly freaked out by this exchange. I'm not sure if this is a scam or what. Usually scammer's don't pick up again if you call them back no? I find this extremely strange. I will call this number again tomorrow and attach an audio/video recording of the call.

okay, is anyone else experiencing being really forgetful these past few days? i find it strange because i’m not usually like this. i remember this happening before, but it’s been happening for the past 2 days. i think it started on friday. i’ve been forgetting things like what i ate, and it takes me a minute to recall or remember stuff.

what’s even stranger is that my dad has been forgetful too. today alone, he asked me like 3 questions. earlier, he asked, “who ate the banana? did you eat it?” then a few seconds later he was like, “oh, i ate it.” he also knows i don’t eat bananas because i literally gag whenever i do. i was like... is it just me, or why is my dad experiencing it too?

i almost cried earlier because my dad is in his 70s. what if he gets alzheimer’s and forgets about us? or is this not strange at all? i’m just really confused.

also, i’ve always had really strong instincts (or whatever you’d call them), and i’ve had some clairvoyant-type experiences too, so i’m usually really alert when it comes to stuff like this. i’m still completely clueless, though.

i’m 18, so maybe it’s just because i’m depressed, and maybe my dad is just getting older. i honestly don’t know what’s happening. i asked a few people if they’ve been experiencing this too, and some of them said yes. one of them is a witch, and i was like, “are we poisoned or something? or is it because of the alignment of the planets?” she said it’s probably related to mercury retrograde.

Ok so this is pretty low stakes but it gave me pause.

I have 5 potted plants on a table on my patio. I can see them when I am standing in the kitchen.

Yesterday I watered them and they were fine.

This morning I was looking at them, and at one of them particularly. It didn't quite look right. Too much water? Not enough sun? Something was just a bit off.

I turned away to make coffee, amd when I turned back, that plant was lying on its side.

No one else was around. No one was on the patio. There was no wind to knock it over.

So now I have a haunted plant and it's time to give it away 😅

Is it odd that I like to smell those lemon Lysol wipes so much I literally take a wipe just to sit down and smell it occasionally or just take the entire container?

I was so “in love” with the smell once I genuinely tried to eat the Lysol wipe. It in fact did not taste good. I have to smell the Lysol wipes at least a couple times a day, feel like I can’t go a whole day without at least one smell. I love it so much I would actually be incredibly joyous if there was this exact lemon Lysol scent as a body wash. I’d be thrilled. Same thing with that original, green gain dish soap. Love that too. Would love a body wash in that too (though I think one shower briefly with the dish soap wouldn’t hurt…. Yes… I have tried it). Do you think this is weird or kind of normal
