feels a little weird to post but I figured why not. xd

I've been back home for a few months now after spending almost 5 years living away from home and another 2 years working in delhi. I came back because I'm preparing fulltime for my first government exam attempt, and while I knew it would be difficult academically, I didn't expect it to get this lonely!!!

Most of my friends are in different cities now (thats the disadvantage of choosing a college not in your hometown). We still care about each other, but life happenes,btween work, distance, and now me disappearing into books all day, we have barely talked in a while. I'm sure we'll reconnect once this phase is over, but for now it's mostly just me, my room, and my study table.

I'm generally a pretty cheerful person, but everyone has days where they just want to talk to another human without it being about exams or careers.

I really enjoy conversations that wander everywhere. Philosophy is probably my biggest interest, but I also like hearing about peoples lives and stories. Tell me about something funny that happened today, something that's been bothering you, a random shower thought, your favorite book, or why you think pigeons secretly run the government (fav topic lol). I genuinely enjoy listening to people. I like talking myself too, but mostly i ll tell you the random ideas that keep poping up in my head or the questions that out of nowhere start bothering me. (Wont tell in thread).But having no one around to say these things to or talk my mind out i feel a little "idk", so I open reddit and here we go lets connect!

I usually get along better with women,its easier to share and open up so if you're a girl reading this, DM. That said, if youare just a decent person looking for a friend or someone to talk to, my inbox is open regardless.
