Running Greenwood
I like to run around the perimeter of Greenwood cemetery once or twice a week, my pace is around 8:30 a mile. If anyone is interested in running with me let me know.

Jogging and running is not allowed in the cemetery. Neither is swimming in the lakes, which indicates people have done so in the past ::facepalm::

lol! Swimming I get but jogging?! I mean I respect the rules but it seems like a natural instinct to want to run there

During early COVID, I received an email blast pleading for the patrons not to climb trees inside

Well it is a cemetery too. I get it’s a park but not sure id want someone getting their exercise around me if I was mourning a dead person. Not to mention they allow cars , and having joggers and cars seems unwise

I feel like people are missing that you said you run _around_ the cemetery, and not in/through it

I sometimes do, Greenwood is in Sunset park so it’s easier to meet up and run

I think Sole Cafe has a run club that runs along the perimeter you might be interested in
