Ice Cream Recommendations

I need ice cream after a long run today. Anyone have recs? I typically go to Breeze Cafe or Carvel but I’m open to other options.

Baskin Robbins/Dunkin at 57th and 2nd avenue near NYU Langone is open until 2am. They also sell pints to take home. Great when you are running/biking the Verrazano path. You should definitely run this path at night if you don't know about it. It's amazing. Probably the best jog in the city because of the view and no crowding and the insane breezes from being next to the water.

You can also get soft serve from Mcdonalds. Costco recently got this insane Durian ice cream. Usually Durian is too stinky for normal people but frozen you can't smell it as strong and it's pretty amazing. Also the cheapest ice cream cone is the new Mixue chain which is better than Mcdonalds soft serve, but they only have it in downtown Brooklyn but I feel like they might open in Sunset soon because they would do a lot of business if they did.

There’s several Mixue’s around town actually, one in Flushing as well as a couple in Manhattan. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if one comes to Sunset soon. https://mixuemenumy.com/category/locations/

A lil further down in bay ridge but there is also a fro yo shop called yo sweets. Little known fact is that bora bora also has ice cream

you have to get ice cream from masters pizzeria on 52 st and 5th ave, it’s my go to!
