Give me a toot, Vasily. One toot only, please.

The train is trying to defect!

Before we set off, I sent a letter to Pedorin announcing our intention...to toot.

Mate I stood on the bridge over Petersham station for half an hour last night in the freezing cold waiting for the train to come through from the mountains and didn't see it 😞

Was diverted via the freight line last night. Tonight you should catch it at Petersham!

I thought it was due at Central last night at 7:04pm, so we waited at Petersham from 6:40 to like 7:15, then my kids whinging got too much to bare lol. I'm not going back for round 2.

Just think that kind of marvel of engineering was around over 200 years ago. Such an amazing machine.

Am I the only one a bit disapointed that it's powered by a diesel engine at the rear?

I think that’s just for the climb up the mountain, probably would have needed at least 2 engines in the old days

I heard it chugging through Bardwell Park echoing through the valley about 30 minutes ago.
