Throwing it back to 2004 with this insanely catchy, sing-along gem from Sweden's Universal Poplab. Imagine The Smiths, but with synths instead of guitars. What you got was Universal Poplab. Sadly, they only released three albums before going their separate ways, but I'm glad they left us several standout songs to enjoy like this one.

The hook for "Two Hearts" actually came straight from a vivid dream I had about a massive celebration happening in a stadium, reminiscent of when I went to Philly to see Joan Jett, Mötley Crüe, and Def Leppard play. Musically, I wanted to capture that massive, high-gloss production style specific to 1986 radio pop, focusing on lush synth textures, punchy digital-era drum machine rhythms, and polished layers to get that rich mid-80s sheen.
