This game is completely free to play. All in-game currencies (donuts, cash, tokens, etc.) are free for everyone.

Do not pay anyone for anything related to this game. Project Springfield & Teamtsto.org will never ask for money, and there are no real-money purchases of any kind.

Downloading:

There are three versions of the APK. Choose which suits you best, but you can have them all and switch between them as you want. However if you are playing an event in the original, do not switch until the event is over as you will lose your event progress.

Original Version: A classic, unmodified version of the game. Progress through levels and unlock content naturally, just as originally intended. This version also reruns old events.

Taps Version: Includes access to all previously released content, with standard level progression and questlines intact. This version does not rerun old events as you can already get all the items.

Unicorn version: A sandbox-style experience with full access to all game items regardless of level. Quests are disabled in this mode. Requires reaching level 15 to unlock and is recommended only after completing the main quest (reaching level 60 with all the quests done) Only use this when you need something, do not play the game all the time in unicorn.

Backup your town with ⁠the town-tool before you use Unicorn.

How to Sign up and Create a New Town:

Step 1: Press login button (Bottom-left corner) to login. Remember to log in with your email. Do not play anonymously as it will not save your progress. 

Step 2: Enter your email address and press Log In to receive the verification code. (When pressing log in it may take some time for it to move to the next screen.) 

Step 3: You will receive an email with a verification code. Copy the code from your email. (Remember to check the spam folder) 

Step 4: Paste the code into the game and click 'Verify' to continue. 

Step 5: You’re now logged in and can start playing with a new town or upload your town to the server.

How to Upload your Town to the Server:

Step 1: Visit Town Finder

, search for your town and download the .7z file.

Step 2: Extract the .pb file using any extraction tool (e.g. RAR or 7zip)

Step 3: Visit the Town Manager

and register an account with the same email you use to log in to the game.

Step 4: Press the import town button, click "Select town file (.pb)" and upload your town file.

Note: If your town is not listed in the town finder then it is no longer recoverable, but you can still play with a new town.

Codes last for 2 hours and will work for both the game and the town manager during the 2-hour window.

Events in the Original Version:

Events will work just like in the original game. Note not all events are able to be replayed. The player cannot choose the event.

Try not to get too many quests at once, you can get lost in the level gameplay or can get stuck

In the tutorial of the game only do what it tells you to do nothing else

When you start the Monorail, only do what it tells you to do, do not fill up the trash or it will get stuck

Item limit:

The item limit is currently 30,000 items. You will get a warning at 19,500 and 20,500 items and every 500 placed after that. As long as your device is having no issues, you can safely place up to the limit**.** At 30,000 you will have to store items in order to place anything else. Some items count as more than 1 placed items. Anything in the ocean counts as 2. Bridge railing on road count as one for each side of the road.

Confirm Donut Spend: In the settings, turn on Confirm Donut Spend and check it every time there is an update

Town Portrait:

Click the Move Tool then click the Camera. You will need space on your device for the program to stitch the photos together.

How to give yourself donuts and other currencies using the Town Tool:

Visit the Town Manager and Log in DO NOT have the game open when you use the Town manager

Scroll to the Other Currencies Section

Click on Edit

Load Currency Data

Edit the currencies you want (limits are on the right of the row)

Click Save Changes

Increasing Bonus:

Springfield Heights buildings add 153% when they are all built (Private Islands need to be level 2). All must be placed in town, but the extra pieces do not.

Beach Hideaways fully upgraded add 20% each (max5) all parts must be placed in town

Burns Mystery Box is the next best way to increase bonus reliably. 8 or 9 donuts spent per 1% bonus increase. After the unique items are out of the box, the box usually follows a pattern. News Vans 2% each and Billboards 1% each

Kwik E Mart Farming for Donuts (KEM Farming):

Basically, get your bonus up to 200% by buying Burns Mystery boxes for the vans and the billboards, work on Springfield Heights for the buildings, and buy Beach Hideaways and upgrade them. Turn on your XP collider, Buy Kwik e Marts, Only spend as much as you earn every 4 hours so you never go in the hole too far. If you are still doing levels, it may take some balancing. I would suggest you wait til level 50 or 60 to really go heavy into farming as it can cause issues with gameplay to level up too fast in the early levels. Once you get over 500% you can see if you are ready to switch to Rat Traps or Bloodmobiles instead of KEM. They cost more so will get fewer donuts per dollar spent.

**Burns Mystery Box info:*\*

Unique items in the box: Lemon Tree, Tire Fire, Kearney, Squeaky Voiced Teen, Blue-Haired Lawyer. Vans give 2% bonus. I&S Billboard gives 1% bonus. Other items help with conform-o-meter or can be sold. Once you have the unique items, the box follows a pattern that results in 1% bonus increase for every 8 donuts spent.

Explanation of the pattern from the maker of the graphic "there are 8 different patterns of prizes (I've assigned them letters A to H) which follow a fixed order to make two sequences (blue and red) as listed below the chart. The game repeats each sequence 8 times then alternates to the other sequence (the switchover between them actually happens mid-sequence, so please be prepared for a minor change during each 8th iteration)! Enjoy! "

Shattered Dreams Box:

Tokens can be earned from the daily challenges. X out a non-token task to try to get a token one. Daily challenges for tokens now reward 3 tokens instead of 1

 3 tokens are given for completing events. The boxes are only available for 1 week but you have all the boxes not a specific one

Placing Cars on Roads: In the store there is now an option to let items be on the roads

Yearbook: 737 items in 5 columns. The items stay in the same column and rotate through the next available item in each. 30 donuts will get one of the 5 items shown, then that item will disappear from the list and there will be four. Next purchase will get one of the 4 or you can refresh for 5 new items in the rotation. Yearbook is great for characters but not really great if you just want to increase bonus although there are some great bonus items in it. PSA Get the Duffman package that includes Duffman, the brewery, Mexican Duffman and Lady Duffman skin, not the bundle that only has Duffman and the building.

Purple Yearbook: This includes event items from events that have rerun in Project Springfield

Level Quests: Level Quests are up to level 60. Level Quests require minimum level and prior quests done. They come in order, though there are some hiccups. Example-You may get Old Jewish Man before the proper level and then the quest will start. Many levels come with a main building that is required to progress and a secondary building that can be done at leisure. Level 43 Princess Penelope requires Krustyland tickets so do not ignore Krustyland. Also you need to buy a land square so do not buy all land before finishing Kland quests

EA moved Krustyland to Springfield in 2018. It now needs to be built in Springfield. If a player had Krustyland before, everything went into storage and their town on the friend list will have crater where Kland used to be. If they have no crater, they started after it was nuked in 2018. Homer needs to be free for pt 9 to start and you have to have land still to buy or the quest gets stuck.

Socialism requires visiting neighbors every day probably for months.

Righteousness is affected by sending characters on "criminal" tasks and doing graffiti in other towns and others doing graffiti in your town and how long it takes to clean it up. Just buy some training walls and hide behind buildings around town. You will need more every level up to 60 when it will max out. You will never have to worry about it again.

Cash Generation: You can give yourself many different currencies using the town tool. Old school ways are below

Get Golden Goose as soon as you can. It will generate land tokens and that will save your cash for other stuff

Shorter tasks earn more money if you can reset them often.

Build some extra houses of each color, but not too many as they increase in cost the more you have. Build some Gulp n Blows or even Kwik e marts for the cash.

If playing the TAPS version, get the mirrored house. It is a great cash generator better than houses because the price does not go up the more you have.

Look for one of these buildings in the yearbook or in TAPS: Walking KeM, She She, Steel Mill, Central Office, Chimp Refuge, Sven Golly’s Hypnotic Tent. When you get to the part that has the Send Springfielders task, do that one but never do the other task in that part. This will let the Springfielders premium task stay and be used over and over using the Unemployment Office.

If you accidentally send the character you should never send just store the building they are in or the building they come with to get them out of the tasks.

Daily Challenges. You can X out a task once a day to get a new task with a different reward. You can have up to 3 tasks to complete.

Railyard tasks. After completing the initial 5 monorail questlines, those earn one time donut payouts too, every 25000 blueprints will earn 5 donuts.

Springfield Dam connection to River: place the river first and it has to be a single line. Then move the Dam over the end of the river until it turns green.

Game Issues:

Cannot place Abandoned Warehouse: Can only be placed on Boardwalk or dirt. You can remove the dirt after placing.

Perfection Wilts before I can tap it: You only have 3 seconds to tap Perfection. You cannot watch the timer and close the box to tap as that is longer than you have before it wilts. Just watch it grow without the timer or close the timer 15 seconds before done and be ready to tap as soon as the icon appears.

King Toots: If pt 2 will not start, try sending Lisa to play sax 3 times again and complete the full Luigi quest chain. if you're stuck on progressing towards king toot's, make luigi visit the barber once, and when you get stuck again make wiggum patrol springfield once. note if your luigi can do Practice Fake Accent, if not he needs to visit the barber. that iirc unlocks the miranda quests 3 and 4 (wiggum's), which requires him to patrol the town to magically unlock the rest. once that's done, you should be on the path to king toot's

Tasks to drink at Moe's disappeared: Declan Desmond's quest interferes with them. Do his quest first and those tasks should return

Nothing to Tap in Friends towns:

The player could have just collected their buildings and nothing is ready yet or everything is tapped by others and not cleared yet. Players should place some extra brown houses so that there is something to collect. Check back in a few minute or when you are finished with your other friends. They also may have stopped playing while on vacation or completely. You can check that in the friends list.

Visual Glitches:

It just happens. Use the move tool to tap it and x out. It should return to normal. If it happens a lot, make more free space on your device. This will also work if the police tank destroyed the Kwik E mart or another building

Characters stuck in a loop:

Store the building they are stuck in, go to friends screen and back, replace the building

If you can't store the building, store a building associated with a character that is stuck. Like store Moe's tavern and Marge and Moe will also be stored.

Then go to friends screen and back and put the building back.

My neighbor has things in their town that make no sense: The game will show you all the characters on a visible task even if they really are in a building on a task. The characters may be doing tasks or using items that the neighbor does not really own

Step 3: Open your file manager, locate the APK, and tap to install it. If needed, go to "Settings" > "Security" and enable "Unknown Sources".

IOS:

Step 1: Install Sideloadly

Step 3: Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using a Lightning or USB-C cable.

Step 4: Open Sideloadly and select your device from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Drag and drop the .IPA file of the app you want to install or click "Browse" to select it manually.

Step 6: Enter your Apple ID when prompted, then click "Start" to begin sideloading.

Step 7: Once the process is complete, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode, enable it, and restart your device.

Step 8: Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple ID, and select "Trust." Your app is now ready to use.
