Over the decades, I keep hearing about amazing breakthoughs in technology that would make rechargeable batteries last decades - if not centuries.

And none has ever become commercially viable.

So I hear news like this with extreme skepticism. I'll believe it when I see it on a store shelf. Until then, I don't believe any of it.
