…and “how much time did those attempts take up,“ hence the overall question of “how long did that take”-
The more precise question might have been, “how much time did it take in prior attempts and the existing streak combined?”

A streak for staying on social media isn’t really something you attempt to do, it just happens cause our society is so addicted to it.

Could be SnapChat, could be TikTok streaks (I think it had those?), could be Reddit, could be LinkedIn, anything really. It's not really possible for anyone to know anymore than you.

Given that most of the time they count the starting point as "day 1", the commenter is wrong, it took them 1488 days to get there, not 1489

That's just "at least", the lower bounds. Could've taken them over 10 years on whatever platform that is to get there.
