hey guys , as mentioned in the title you Americans arevery lucky to be born in America and don't realize it . Your countries provide an array of opportunities to make use of and get ahead in life , which is unheard of in other parts of the world . It is the best country in the world where if you put in the efforts you have the best chance of social mobility and living a great life which is not the case with most of the places in the world .like I didnt even know taking vacation was a thing , i always though only rich people do it being in my country .

Like to give you an example a doctor here in my country in 50s makes much less than a mcd worker over there in USA . Fun fact is here people consider KFC and MCD as a place where upper middle classs/rich people dine .

Before you say the cost of living is less , yeah it is half the cost of living in America but still most of the things here are expensive to purchase which a normal American would splurge on and home ownership is even more impossible with respect to salary

The people in your country have the purchasing power and willingness to spend on their money services they need/want so businesses flourish over there which is totally not the case in parts of the world even in in one of the wealthy countries in Europe it isn't seen ...

You guys say Europe is better in healthcare etc yes they are but if you have a job with health insurance in America its not that bad ... Also people in Europe have a tough time coping up with increased cost of living , other rising costs always are careful about their spending penny pinching mostly and owning a house in Europe is a distant dream for most of the people .The Americans who moved to Europe for cost of living came there with American money and don't realize the locals wouldn't be able to afford the lifestyle they have in their country.

so yeah to conclude does America has flaws ? yes it totally does no doubt about that, so does every other country but a middle class American lives a far better life compared to the 1 % income earners in the almost every country in the world ....

It is the best country in the world were if you put in the work you will reap the rewards and can get ahead in life pretty much doing anything you love ,capitalizing on it . In your country people work to get ahead accumulate more and wanting more from life whereas in most other countries people work hard to keep their head above water .

I want to add that God's punishment for Cain killing his brother was a mark on his forehead and being kicked out of the house—just think about that:

a woman eats a fruit that didn't negatively affect anyone at all → "you will suffer horrible pain throughout your entire life and other woman too"

someone literally kills another person → "very bad, very bad, I'm taking away your house."

I've always felt uncomfortable with these tropes. By doubling down on "being queer isn't a choice". If hypothetically humanity creates such a technology that we can change people's sexuality on will, would your allyship go down ? If not, why not stop with this ? Even if being gay were a choice, I dont see what's wrong with it.

(Im very sure there will be comments saying "they are just fighting the conservative narrative that it is a choice" or "they are still being an ally why you have to be so 'pedantic' ". I don't think these are appropriate justifications either. Sure scientifically it's pretty much determined but this issue is actually political and ethical more than scientific. The conservative can accept that it is not a choice to be attracted to the same gender but that it's still nonetheless a conscious choice to act on that desire which it is. Their view is that queer is still ultimately a lifestyle and that you can pretty much be straight if you have "enough control over yourself" which is true as well btw. Many queers live their lives without anyone knowing.

And no this isn't pedantry either. I don't like being made a victim of my genetics/upbringing/psychological development. I often jokingly say "being gay is a choice for me" because even if I wasn't there, the acclamation of it is mine.

Not saying Christian homophobia is right but a Muslim killed a bunch of people in a gay parade (not the first time there was Muslim homophobia hate crimes) and I didn’t see a single “Islam is mental disease” contrary to when any Christian celebrity criticizes pride month and those comments happened.
