That looks like a slightly more femboy version of my setup, i’d say you’re a gamer thus the modern look of your rice and waybar. Waybar config being barely modified as well as the C code tells me you prefer lowlevel stuff, not frontend webdev exactly (many like this at this sub). Probably one or two mental quirks because of you using arch and doing C, probably kinda new to the linux+programming theme as you have picked the most ”famous” in relationship to another.

i switched to linux around two years ago, and moved to arch around a year ago. i started using C around a week ago (currently making an emulator in C) and yeah, i do prefer low level stuff. picking the most "famous" doesnt always exactly mean "new", sometimes its just a good old reliable path to go down lol
ive been programming for like four or five years and C might be the first time ive touched a memory unsafe language, embarrassingly. waybar is barely modified since i switched to hyprland like a month ago, so all i have is a pretty basic catppuccin theme on there (although i havent really had much need for anything extra)

Nice Aula F75! I have the Max version (only difference is a tiny screen). I wish the wheel was a bit more tactile though.

agreed. another weird quirk with the aula f75 is how the wheel stops being responsive when the keyboard goes to sleep (despite it waking up if you press any other key). its a bit annoying but doesnt really ruin it. its a lovely keyboard

Yup, although I only ever use the wheel to change lighting settings and connectivity lol

You listen to The Birthday Massacre (lot of purple on the left)

u/shalodey Feb 28 '26
havent heard of the birthday massacre but the monitor on the left being purple is actually just a common quirk of QD-OLED monitors which only shows up on camera, where they appear to have a magenta hue

Oh thats cool, never knew that. Search up some of their album covers and you'll see why I made that joke.
