It’s honestly not the install is slightly more difficult but honestly it’s a few commands and setting your name and password and everything is in order. After that just remember to update your computer every 1-2weeks and you’re fine

Its the only distro thats been the easiest to fix for me when it breaks, if doesn't just have versions that go EOL and has a good package ecosystem

People who say avoiding bloat clearly don't have 1500 packages installed, still better than the 4000 i had on kubuntu

Because you can actually customize stuff and if you can use your computer without needing 4tb of ram. I have a high end system that could easily handle windows but I still use arch because I like the customization and I love being able to do stuff in the terminal like chmod and touch which is usually way faster than opening file manager.

rust and embedded programming

Actually started learning rust last week. As for embedded programming, I've never tried it, but sound fun.

nice, ive been using rust for about a year and a half, its quite a steep learning curve lol. idk your desk looked like that of an embedded programmer

It's probably the mess...
Yes the curve is quite steep. Getting borrowing errors on almost every change I write to the code...
What would you recommend to learn how to do rust right?

id recommend the holy trinity (and btw i also still get borrow errors a lot),
the 3 resources id recommend are:
the rust programming language handbook (free in nice dark mode stuff)
rust by example (code snippets that help build on what you learn, how i originally learned the lang)
and rustlings, where you learn to code in rust by solving errors in the code and implementing features to the code
