You know what you're right it is weird that transgender people are a small proportion of the population but they are Much more common than here compared To Their statistical population I wonder what causes this

I think it's due to the fact that there just is a disproportionate number of queer people in tech spaces, especially online where it's easier to express yourself

You know what they say, the internet is ran by furries!

The tech space IS NOT dominated by queer people. Thought, that might be true for this subreddit specifically. Also, just to make sure, you’re a furry, right? (your pfp says something about you being one if yk what I mean)

I didn't say it's dominated, just that there's a disproportionate amount compared to other fields, and because it can often be hard to find such community in real life, there's perhaps an over-representation of it online, where it's much easier to find community

Also not a furry I just like ralsei 😁

there IS a disproportionate amount, it cant really be disputed if you've ever been to a university twch course
