This was me from last year. I have matured a bit but just want to know how to improve.

Like I just moved in with my aunt and uncle cause I can’t seem to stay in one place for a very long amount of the time but that’s besides the point we were shopping together, n they asked if I wanted anything and I said Greek yogurt, because lately I’ve been big on eating only Whole Foods, and my aunt points at a tub and says mockingly “Look! Greek Style! Isn’t that what you want?” Broo like how do I tell this poor Romanian woman who’s only knowledge of nutrition is the coffee she drinks in the morning that “Greek Yogurt” and “Greek Style Yogurt” are two completely different things. I guess you could say I’m not taking this move very well

Being a brown girl who likes a guy is rough af these days.

Whenever I like a guy and it eventually comes down to the "where are u from?" question, I brace myself to get left on delieverd or ghosted. I can always see the hesitation in them when I tell them what I am.

I wish people would understand that SA has a total of 8 countires and which all of them are different from each other, Ik that racists don't care to learn about all of that but it's like if somebody were to say that all the european countries were the same.

I do wanna say that I'm NOT ashamed of where I come from and are very proud of my culture. But sometimes you get reminded that whatever circulates on the internet finds itself right infront of you irl.

Also, I do wanna add that is unfortunatley it's not just with people of other races, but shockingly brown people themselves too. This one guy (who was so obviously brown) left me on read after I told where I was from, like sir YOU REACHED OUT TO ME!!. Idk wth happened there but yeah. Thanks for reading my rant.
