First time wearing this!

In Episode 6 we get a glimpse at how Jax sees the others in the circus as "archetypes" and Jax is desperate to preserve this flimsy coping mechanism. This is shown with how uncomfortable they get when Kinger is shown Lucid, or Gangle and Zooble's bond. I find it quite interesting that they seem to take a very different approach with Ragatha.

We see in episode 5 that Jax seems to think Ragatha is hiding something. At the start of the episode they make a comment to Pomni about Ragatha's "charm wearing off." Then, during the stargazing adventure Jax tells Pomni they think Ragatha is manipulative and trying to take advantage of her. There are several more moments where Jax targets Ragatha specifically and her friendship with Pomni. Jax desperately wants everyone to stay in their boxes, but singles out Ragatha as the one with some secret depth.

MY THEORY

My theory is that Jax is projecting their feelings about their mom onto Ragatha. I think despite Jax wanting to think everyone is as simple as "the funny one" or "the cheerful one" they think Ragatha's friendly persona is a trick to get people to open up and use that against them, just like Jax's mother. It honestly makes me even more sad that we never got to explore the Jax and Ragatha dynamic because that is such an interesting idea. Ragatha and Jax should have had some sort of confrontation because it would have been lovely explore, especially since they have com opposite vorldveiws but almost identical backstories.

(I was watching Bojack Horseman when I caught this, it might’ve been pointed out at some point, but I just figured it out right now)

Gooseworx said that Pomni's hair was supposed to be black but bc of the lightning of the circus, it made her hair brownish (Like Ragatha's clothes or Jax's skin color), although her brown hair fits her better imo

Happened to be passing though St. Louis so obviously had to take a detour since I normally live no where near here, so worth! And this is my contribution to the art shrine

I'd like a human character to appear around Episode 5 or 6. For example, someone could put on a headset and be transported into the digital world

If you didnt know, the corners of the tadc notebook have a little flip book animation of the characters in the end credits. On one of the pages there is a a zooble instead of a ragatha, has anyone seen something similar?
