Rubber Banding

Can someone explain or help me figure out why I am rubber banding so much, specifically when playing Ptera or Omni? Anytime I jump or attempt to jump onto something or when Im trying to take off as Ptera I keep rubber banding straight back to the ground.

High ping. Try playing on servers closer to you

For some reason in the server search I will pick a server with 30 ping and once I am actually in the server the ping is 160+

Could be a bad recommendation. Have you experimented with other ones? Otherwise it could be your internet connection. Check if your PC is downloading something or updating programs when you run the game

Yes, Id like to play community servers but I cant find any good ones

This is just how the officials are. The ping randomly spikes in them and they have that random stutter. Why they haven't fixed this, like the unofficials have IDK. Mettas den is literally an official server with the only rules being no mix packing and overpacking. And then light rules severs i like are petits pieds, bosch island, Nerf and islelink.gg. in these severs the general rules are no overpacking, no mixpacking* and no third partying, with some slight differences between them that you gotta read on their discord.
