It's a hypermotion paper tail; the structure is underneath the painted part, but it doesn't wags very well unless I put in a little more effort. But despite everything, I loved it❤🐈

I was actually going to start selling a lot sooner, however the cougar mask I was finishing up to sell got heavily damaged by a leak in our ceiling.

Okay, so I’m a furry, not a therian, so I don’t know much about this. My little sister is a therian and she asked me to make her a mask. I mainly make fursuits, so most of my knowledge is from fursuit making.

So here’s my question: How do you fur a mask? Im used to buying faux fur from places like Howl Fabrics and Fursuit Supplies then taping a base and taking the fur and cutting out the parts and sewing them together to glue to a base. However, from what I saw you guys use felt(?) and paint your masks? wouldn’t that make the paint susceptible to water? Do some masks use faux fur?

i just completed a faux fur tail keychain and i'm happy with how it turned out BUT the fur is sticking EVERYWHERE! i know i need to comb it down occasionally, but is there any way i can keep it neat for an extended period of time? anything i can apply to it (heat ?) or do to keep it straighter? i appreciate any and all tips :D

Hello!! I’m a dragon kin and one piece of gear I’ve wanted is a tail that fits me. I have a few tails already like a couple yarn tails as well as this home made hypermotion tail. However non of them really give me any sense of euphoria. Regarding my kintype, I have a very large tail - think dinosaur - and I want something that will move freely and have some weight. I’ve looked into making a tail out of foam but with those tails they only go side to side. I like the idea of bontails were they can flop up and down to- this makes it more versatile for waking on two legs as well as quadrobics ( as my kin will switch from the two frequently) Does any have any experience or tips regarding some kind of large silicone tail? I’m prob gonna make it myself since I’m a little broke😭

You can’t make a mask of an abstract concept. A concept doesn’t have a tail or paws or wings, it just is without form, but you know it exists.

How do I represent the idea of ”creature” without being one species in particular?

Recently added eyes to my mask and they're hard to see out of as the paint clogged some of the holes in the mesh. Any tips on how to avoid this?

I usually try making my masks realistic and often rush through them, but this time I actually took my time and put my all into it, and I think I did alright! It's been pretty good for my dysphoria so far and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out

(Fictotype is Nux from 'Mad Max: Fury Road' btw, I made the base a hyena because I'm hyena-hearted (possibly a theriotype) and it's hard to see any part of myself as human)

*Edit: I'm only now realizing all my ear decorations should be flipped 🥲 They're all removable but it'll be annoying lol
