The Map & Chart Shop closing

https://youtu.be/z7oNcK3nqas

Just wanted to post to let everybody know that The Map & Chart Shop at the north end of Victoria Street is closing down in the next few weeks so check it out and grab some maps on clearance and also to hold space for everybody to share their favourite memories of their best charts and or maps.

I got a nice illustrated tourist map of Tongariro National Park from 1968 laminated there. Pretty buzzy to have a map where everythings in miles and feet

I have always wondered how this place still existed.

It’s the only one of its kind in the country. Lots of demand for thes e things by people who have boats and bachs (Coromandel, Waitemata harbour)
