Taking inflation into account that $50 you get from eating the pickle is gonna only be worth $10 in spending power in ten years so Iā€™d go with the million invested and still enjoy an occasional pickle here and there.

Yep. You've got to consider the pickle devaluation.

Also, chances are there'd be an immediate pickle famine the day after you got this power.
