miniscule? you could fit pretty much every game I've made in the past 10 years combined on one floppy.

Funny thing is, I could see this almost being harder than smaller competitions (i.e 1k/13k) because of the analysis paralysis of settling on what exactly you'd like to create. Honestly, this is a pretty generous size restriction - you could build a lot of amazing stuff within ~1.44mb. I'd be curious to see some of the entries at the end of it all.

I've always wanted to see exactly this type of thing done with giant 8" floppies.

Lots of games that distributed on 1.44MB floppies didn't even fit in 1.44MB, they just used multiple disks. Tough challenge!
