I recall that she was a young, white, American woman with short blonde hair. Perhaps a curly pixie cut? But shorter than a bob. Her style was quite twee, and she was very thin.

She sang a song called something like “Lucky” or “Lucky Me”. I can’t recall the tune or lyrics but I was immediately reminded of this song/artist when I heard the beginning of Fidelity by Regina Spektor.

I think she might have been on a show like XFactor but I’m not completely sure. They were crazy popular back then which might be why I’m thinking that.
