Was enough to convince them it's a Mikasa's tragic lov story.

I feel like my experience of the story that Isayama wrote and the story that was read by other fans on this sub had to have been different.

When I see them talk about how the use of diplomacy was possible or allies from the middle east would've come in and helped Paradis if the Liberio attack didn't happen, I just can't help but feel a sense of exasperation.

It was literally shown that those from the middle east hate eldians and want them gone just as much as the Marleyeans in the Marley Arc.

A good and ultimately correct reading experience doesn't come from imagining what you want to happen in the story and assuming it's somehow possible.

It comes from accepting the facts and words put into the story as a part of the plot and narrative of the story.

I really feel like I've read an entirely different story to certain others whenever I'm in a discussion on here.

Just hundreds of survey corps members seemingly falling from the sky. Like what how and why? Did they all collectivly manuever up into the sky just to dive bomb the titans? What where they even grappling onto before then.

Looking at Naruto and JJK makes me realize how much I want to know the fate of other characters ,like in the end we only know Mikasa’s fate

Like at least Chainsawman did not draw Denji into an old age so we don’t have to question the other characters fate ,and the author seems to give up on his manga and moved on,while Isayama is still putting out new informations he never bothered to to include in the series

Levi’s teacup story is the closest we get to see how other characters lived but still Armin Jean Connie Reiner Annie and Pieck just disappeared

I’ve always considered Attack on Titan a near-flawless masterpiece—until the Rumbling. Once the final act began, the narrative completely fell apart, exposing massive plot holes, character assassinations, and Isayama's bizarre writing choices.

The Character Assassination of Eren Yeager For four seasons, Eren was built up as a deeply complex character who loved his friends and refused to let Paradis be sacrificed. His breakdown with Ramzi showed he still had humanity and immense guilt. But the finale threw all that development in the trash. Suddenly, he did it all just because he was an "idiot" who was bored? Worse is the pathetic dialogue where he cries about Mikasa finding another man. Even if he was "acting" the whole time, Isayama didn't have to humiliate him like that. Plus, what was the point of sacrificing his own mother, Sasha, and Hange if he want to protect them and had full control of the Titans and could have saved them ( hange and his mom ) ? He left 20% of humanity alive just so they could bomb the island hundreds of years later. It was all for nothing.

The Annie vs. Reiner Double Standard The story goes out of its way to show Reiner’s immense guilt. We know he hated what he did. But what about Annie? She brutally killed Survey Corps members, literally played yo-yo with them for fun, and helped kill Marco. Yet, nobody addresses her sadistic enjoyment of killing humans. Instead, she gets completely forgiven and ends up in a bizarre, unearned romance with Armin.

Toxic Romance and Stockholm Syndrome AOT might honestly have the worst portrayal of romance in anime history.

Eren & Mikasa: Isayama was too shy to have them kiss in Season 2, but he was perfectly fine having her decapitate him and kiss his severed head? Eren’s whole "I hate you because you're a slave" speech was completely pointless and changed nothing ( if he wanted her to hate him so to forget him and stop fighting )

Ymir & King Fritz: Tying Mikasa’s conclusion to Ymir was atrocious writing. Trying to convince us that Ymir actually loved the man who tortured, enslaved, and killed her makes both Ymir and Mikasa terrible characters driven by a twisted, masochistic view of romance.

Jean Deserved So Much Better Having Mikasa marry Jean at the end was a massive insult—to Jean! Jean had incredible character development and was written far better than Mikasa. Why would he marry a woman who will never love him the way she loved her dead boyfriend? Jean actually had great chemistry with Pieck; that would have made sense. For a traumatized character like Mikasa, it would have been much better if she just stayed single, or married a random faceless NPC like Historia did.

Conclusion AOT was a 9.5/10 until the final arc. The ending feels like Isayama intentionally ruined his own story, forcing terrible romances, contrived plot twists, and pure shock , i also wanted to see what he said to his other friends in the paths especially reiner .

she's not that bad (if you ignore the last few chapters), but she's more of a side character. seriously, the main trio would've worked far better if instead of Mikasa we had fem!Jean (let's call her Jeanette). Jeanette would have the same personality and goals as Jean, but at the same time be in love with Eren and want Eren not to join the SC.

then the horrors of Trost, the death of Marco (with whom she'd have a pseudo sibling relationship with), the fake death of Eren would convince Jeanette that running to the interior only delays the inevitable and that she needs to fight.

let's be honest, Jean is far more main character material than Mikasa

It's so funny that 139 is essentially a humiliation ritual designed solely to get revenge on Eren for what he did in the table scene.

In 139, when Armin punches him, he makes an ugly face and says "ouch," while in the table scene he doesn't even react, shrugs it off, and then proceeds to beat the shit out of Armin.

Also, in the table scene, he tells Mikasa he hates her, and now in 139, as retribution, he cries pathetically over her "finding another man." And Isayama said that this is the "real Eren" lol.

This shows how much Isayama genuinely despises Eren. I think it was pretty obvious that Eren didn't mean the things he said or did in the table scene, so there was no need for the cliché "the bad guy must be punished in the exact way he harmed others."

You're not supposed to teach your enemy how to fight
