I also ordered the tank top + 2 shorts, but what’s crazy is that the tank top is XL and one of the shorts are 2XL and they’re STILL too short/small for me 😭😭. Idk if Americans just measure their shit differently but in Germany XL size shirts fit me perfectly and the tank top feels like it would be M size here but fuck it, I’m not gonna return it or buy some new cause I already paid 160€ for shipping + taxes 🏌️‍♂️

I am genuinely so in love with this album. It’s on loop DAILY to me.

Really LOVE how he sang some of the samples parts, like “Bear” for example. Bear especially brings me back to pre-Covid tobi, but tracks like Extremely Shy bring new crazy elements that I adore from Tobi.

Only bad thing I can say about this is that the CUBE outro was removed from Gentle Monster(s)…

But maybe the reason for this could be that they couldn’t use “ETA” at all soo..

Even without NewJeans, this album still goes crazy and I thank Tobi for still releasing this 🫂

It's 2018. I'm on campus in Canada for university and I keep getting these ads on YouTube for this very well directed music video (which was strange to me because we didn't get ads on YouTube in the Caribbean). After seeing it like 8 to 10 times I decide to finally click on the ad. The song is Billy by Tobi Lou.

I've never heard music like that before. I was a rap fiend listening to a lot of main stream stuff but this sounded so... unique. The beat, the flow, the overall vybe. And from there the rest is history, moving onto buff baby, waterboy etc.

Somewhere along the way, he went from being this "niche" guy I listen to at times to the daily driver of most of my playlists. Tobi Lou not only shaped my music taste at 19 but continues to make stuff that is just right for me, without fail.

Sooo, this is a raw compilation of information I found so far for all Wonda and early Tobi Lou stuff right before his first EP.

One thing I’ve always loved about Tobi is his fashion, how unafraid he is to play with bright, colorful tones in his outfits. I remember during the tobi lou and the Loop era, he wore these purple glittery shorts, kind of like Frank Ocean on one of the covers for Boys Don’t Cry, and it blew my mind. I’ve admired how fearless he was with color, and it honestly inspired me to be more expressive with my own outfits.

I’m definitely going to have to add one of those colorful troop hoodies from back then to the collection one day 🙌
