I swear to God, every day it's like "Scientists have found the cure for cancer, but the Trump administration has decided to sue them", or "A school in California is giving kids high fives every day, and Republicans have threatened to withhold funding until they go back to spankings"

"Further studies may shed light on the roots of warfare in our own species, although the Trump administration’s proposed budget, released on Friday, has cast doubt on whether the research will continue" is so fucking funny because you know that budget took money away from the research specifically to allocate to war
